Find Distinction Sept. 30

 

Intentionally, pay attention in your everyday activities and do a specific act that only a genuine Christian would do.

 

    Prayer: Lord, help me pay attention to do what you ask with any of my                               behaviors.

Trust Happiness Sept. 29

 

 

            The truth remains that you can find thankfulness from any of your opposing experiences. Heavenly Father wants you to trust happiness in his every creation. Life, light, nature, and any experience with him can give you joy. As you remind yourself to pray and work through life, celebrate your relationships and His creations. Stop and feel. Give thanks for all the little unmentioned things that we tend to take for granted.

 

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for family, friends, and work that you send my way.

 

Kingdom Action Sept.28

 

 

            If the heavenly Father shows you a need and you are able to see it clearly, the opportunity to see it becomes the Spirit’s urging to take some action, so that you might meet the need. You may not satisfy every need but work the one most obvious. Discern the Spirit leading.

 

    Prayer: I pray today you would help me see and meet someone’s need.

 

Spiritual Presence Sept.27

 

 

            Often, you wonder why God does not keep you feeling his presence all the time, every waking minute. Your flesh would burn up. He can only expose you to absolute purity for brief moments, only those amounts your body and spirit can absorb. Even one like Moses had to hide his face from the people when God’s glory shined too bright after being with the Creator a length of time.

 

Prayer: Lord, teach me to handle your power and glory, one experience at a time.

Rebellion Sept.26

 

            God’s kingdom grows its own fruit because it joins the proper soil. You are the soil. You are to become plowed anew, enriched, and readied for the seed of the kingdom. Jesus gave the life energy to grow the fruit, but you must be ready to receive the proper seed. If you rebel, you grow the weeds that take place in the good soil. Weeds wither and die. Only the kingdom-type plants endure forever.

 

Prayer: Lord, sometimes it is scary being the soil and knowing we get plowed up but give us courage to accept the right seed.

Your Control Sept.25

 

 

            When Jesus walked with his twelve disciples and ate grain from the stalks in the field, he was challenged by man’s law “to not gather grain” on the Sabbath. Then, he posed the question: “Was man made for the Sabbath or the Sabbath made for man?” In other words, was a person made for the environment and his surroundings or was the environment made for a person? 

            Be aware that your circumstances should not control you, but you can overcome your circumstances. You have heaven-designed decisions to make. Your job, friends, family or even your cultural changes should not overrun you because God has new and different life just waiting.

 

 

 Prayer: Lord, help me make clear decision-making concerning every aspect of daily living.

 

Perspective Sept. 24

 

 

        From now on, try not to view any person from just a material point of view. Stop yourself and view each person as a potential for heavenly Father’s kingdom consideration. Do not see them as rich or poor, educated or not, clean or dirty, smart or dumb, good or bad. View them as potentially a new creature God can make into a new kind of love. The hidden truth is every person is made in God’s image. The image is disfigured by sin, like looking in a broken mirror. God’s plan can fix that, through His Son.

 

Prayer: Lord who sees all, I do pray you would help me see others through your eyes, no matter their condition or actions.

The Small Effort Sept.23

                       

 

       Every small thought of wisdom God passes on to you comes from heavenly Father and exists like a drop of fresh water to dry lips of the soul. Share all you can, whenever you can. Today, especially, be faithful in the small things of the kingdom: compliment someone who may not even deserve it, help someone smile, encourage the sad. The effort to be kind takes no more energy than it does to ignore and then wish you had been more alert.

 

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me to treat others as I would want to be treated

The Supreme Gift Sept. 22

 

 

Remember, rather than giving up on you, Jesus gave himself for you.

 

 

Prayer: Lord, I don’t always understand your great love, but I thank you and praise your name for your sacrifice.

 

Mixed Values Sept. 21

 

           

            One time a church leader said that you face a generation trying to drink its way to prosperity, war its way to peace, spend its way to wealth, and ride a road of pleasure into heaven. 

    But God really says that prosperity does not come by artificial endeavor. War remains only war. Spending more only works if it’s a gift of yourself. Only enjoying your way to heaven may mean you are missing the struggles that are opportunities to grow. You do grow more through the challenges, and then you rest in Christ.

 

 

Prayer: Lord, sometimes challenges seem too much, but help me see the growth in all of them to go beyond situations.

Ambition Sept. 20

 

   

        Take a moment and think about this question. Can any ambition that yearns so much for praise and feeling accepted, live God’s gospel, when Jesus did not care for any reputation and used service as his method to conquer instead of power? You need only Holy Spirit ambition that helps you in serving others for the kingdom’s sake. What is that ambition? To grow to love yourself and others as Jesus loved you remains God’s desire.

 

 

Prayer: Lord, I do want to think more of helping people than only helping myself. Let any interruptions become you sending me someone to help.

The Trade Sept. 19

 

 

                You cannot reason away some emotions. You must learn to trade the bad emotion for a better one. For instance, perform conscious effort and trade God’s love for your anger. You see, the emotional and chemical quality of love can neutralize and renegotiate anger. The Holy Spirit will infiltrate your negative anger and turn it into the energy of redeeming love. Pray now and make the trade daily.

 

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to know your love in practical ways and to be willing to trade any negative feeling for your unselfish love.

 

 

A Different Kingdom Sept.18

 

   

    God has recorded specifically there are qualities of human nature that belong to the kingdom of heavenly Father. You must become poor in spirit. Poor in spirit means to renounce your self-will and turn to Him. You must enter his realm as an undeveloped little child. You are to remain childlike with trust and faith. You must learn to couch your discomfort in his name. You will endure suffering for his name’s sake because you now belong to him and not to this world only. As you possess His kingdom, the kingdom possesses you.

 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me remember your Kingdom is now and not just in the future.

 

Heavenly Father’s Partnership Sept.17

 

 

    Do you not realize how important you are? The Creator left the joy of heaven as the second person of the Trinity to come to earth, bear the Cross, and go back to heaven with a new joy because He takes you with him. He left behind the tangible Holy Spirit to partner with you in all things. Use the faith he has given you to claim what already exists. Turn over all non-faith matters to his wisdom.

 

 

Prayer: Lord, help me know the difference between the faith issues and the non-faith issues for your kingdom.

Joy Sept.16

 

 

            The Lord of All the universe, Jehovah, wants you to experience joy each day. His joy remains even through suffering by those who oppose or misunderstand Him. No matter what circumstances prevail. How can I do this? You may ask.

     Let your expectations be defined by His possibilities. He sends opportunities every day. Look for and expect little surprises each day you live and know that you can live eternity even now.

 

 

Prayer: Help me today stay open to the kingdom possibilities and not let negative circumstances rule. 

Finances Sept.15

 

   

        When finances get you down, start saying a prayer over every bill you send that it becomes used to help others as a living event in the kingdom for God’s glory. Even if you’ve spent the funds unwisely, pray the pay back will redeem both you and others.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me remember, all finances are yours and they are    extensions of our character growth.

The Cosmos Sept.14

 

   

        The whole creation waits eagerly for you to be revealed because you have trusted Jesus. The world aches for redemption like a parent yearns for a child. The creation was restrained by the will of the Creator because the whole universe hopes for freedom from bondage. As you grow in Christ, you move toward freedom from ruin and decay, toward honest participation in the glory of the Father. As a child of God, part of you groans along with creation because you wait for your final position as an adopted one into the kingdom. All creation will be saved that is supposed to be saved.

 

    Prayer: Thank you Lord, that you re-create us with the Holy Spirit.

Spiritual eyes Sept.13

 

 

        You are truly blessed because you can see what God teaches. You see the kingdom of heavenly Father, creator of all things. In older days, kings and prophets wanted to see what you see but could not. They wanted to hear what you hear but could not. They wanted to feel what you feel but could not. You have Jesus revealed in scripture and the Holy Spirit’s presence within to guide you always. Give Him notice and depend on Him for everything.

 

        Prayer: Lord, help us remember, the Holy Spirit remains teacher within our                         hearts every second.

Good action Sept.12

 

 

        You can see in Luke 8 how the Son of God healed a Gadarene from many demons. The man then wanted to journey with the disciples and Jesus, but he was told to go back home and tell people what God had done. Probably, this man had on borrowed clothes to shield his earlier nakedness. He had been the cause of several pigs receiving the demons and dying. Do you wonder what he did? He could now go home and find work to pay for the clothes and the pigs. This can be your testimony to the world. The kingdom principles of kindness, of putting back and giving when you don’t have to go the extra mile, still are your goals.

 

 

Prayer: Lord I pray for your balance in all things. Place my footing on your                solid ground.

 

Compassion Blockers Sept.11

 

 

        Stay alert. Compassion must move to operate as other centeredness. Hidden resentment, envy, anger, coveting, or fear can throw up roadblocks to compassionate growth. Practice taking one day every week and do something nice for anyone you meet. Say a kind word; give some money; smile at the unexpected; surprise someone with a compliment; do some good action and do not expect any thanks in return. Extend an action to two days. Stretch the days so your goal happens every day of the week. Blessed is the merciful.

 

 

        Prayer: Lord, help any passion I have turn to the right compassion.

Good verses bad Sept.9

 

 

        Your capacity to love God the Father will point to your thoughts about hating evil. If you try to hate evil without the right love, you enter a self-righteousness that tends to break God’s clear fellowship. When you enter some action (no matter what action) major in love. If you err, do so, on the side of My loving power.

 

 

Prayer: Oh, Heavenly Father, teach me today to maintain love more than I cherish any hate.  

 

Clear Perspective Sept.8

 

                                               

         

        Specifically today ask for clear insight and courage of discovery to see yourself openly. You may be trying to cover resentments with curtains of piety. For instance, any resentment or subtle anger will gain a foothold in your life and ruin any purpose. Do not harbor pretense but be completely honest with yourself and others. The great I AM vibrates within you.

        Prayer: Lord, help me today be truly honest about being honest.

Endurance Sept.7

 

 

        The Holy Spirit helps you plan. You have a great capacity to solve problems that happen, and you are more than your present circumstances suggest. You can move into what you can become. For instance, an animal may run to a dead-end cliff, either stop or fall off. You may run to the same dead end and try to build a bridge across. Heavenly Father gave you the ability to rework your conditions. Keep enduring and use the Spirit as your guide.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me stay completely guided by your Spirit in my mind, emotions, spirit, and body.    

 

A Reminder Aug.6

 

                The Son Jesus has many names, yet he is still God’s Son. [1Jo.4:14]. Every second you can, repeat his name you call him.  Say the word. Sing the word. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Pray the name. Prayer that turns to praise, honors Him.

 

Prayer: Lord, I do praise your name: Jesus.

Heartache Aug.5

 

               

                If life seems to cause grief, then God will also respond with compassion according to His abundant loving-kindness. For this reason, catastrophe does not come without some larger purpose. You may not see the whole picture. Any sorrow of His sons and daughters stays only for a season to balance some kind of mercy and justice in the universe. To you who seek Jehovah, know that the Lord, does pay attention to those who wait on his will. Be as silent as you can, listen, and wait for your decisions. He will not decline help forever. But it may come in ways you do not expect.

 

Prayer: Lord, I know I do not fully understand all you plan but I want to fully lean on your Spirit for guidance.

Secure Sept. 4

 

 

        You have a place, an individual position that is still yours alone. It lingers as a hiding place and continues as a location of rest and security, held up by the Highest Spirit. Bathed and covered with love, no one can go there but you. Jehovah is there with you always, whenever you ask.

 

Prayer: Lord, remind me every day to enter that secret hiding place you have for Me.    

Wasted Days Sept. 3

 

 

        Remember, no day is totally wasted when you have even been a minor part in enhancing God’s Kingdom on earth, such as a word spoken, a spiritual truth discovered, or a simple deed done, a gift of hospitality. Results are God’s domain. The logic of it all may remain his mystery. Connections are his concern. Just stay alert and LIVE aware as part of the linking. Trust He still knows what he’s doing.

 

Prayer: Thank you, Lord for the Kingdom connections now. Help me be part of the connections.

Grace Sept. 1

 

       

        God’s Grace stretches beyond all human expectations. His Grace stays capable above all interactions of people, earth ,or the universe. Actively plant your salvation experience where needed and water with a grateful spirit. The power of the WHO I AM will develop the fruit.

 

 

Prayer: Thank you Lord that it was your Grace that gave me faith in the first place to believe in you.
