What is mature? June 12

 

        Jehovah-Yahweh could have taken only one dimension, one world, one lifetime, to create what was needed, but He designed two. There are still  reasons for this world and the next. He gave us eternal life as part of knowing we will not stop a kind of growth when we pass from this realm to the next. He gives us the heart of truths to consider and mature in earthly dimension as a possibility we might be more ready somehow for the next dimension to come. Still His complete forgiveness covers all. We will see and understand connections much more.

        Prayer: Lord, help me understand the spiritual principles embedded in this world’s challenges.

 

Divine Will June 11

 

        Trust seems so simple with Jehovah and yet, so difficult for you. But when you faithfully accept his will, joy may be found even through your difficulties. Do you have pain and yet no joy? His unusual care and love stay a swinging door that bumps both ways.  Trust in your established redemption.  Accept His joy and practice the silence of getting through any irritability. There is a reason for suffering you may never know. Endure in Christ’s name. Remember: in His kingdom, the right joy and praise honors heavenly Father. A renewed human spirit can come from knowing his joy when suffering. Think about this over and over and move beyond.

    Prayer: Lord, I want and need to make time to meditate with you every day.

 

Silences June 10

 

        Today, make a decision. Design your life so you can pay attention to the silences. You live in an extremely noisy world. Work on your schedule so you can listen to the silences, like viewing Nature, the spaces between the noises. God can and will speak to you in the silences. It may appear as a ringing. It may be a gentle breeze. It may be a buzz. It may be just a feeling or sight. It may be words. BE ALERT and LISTEN, so you really hear. Holy Spirit vibrates with you always.

        Prayer: Dear Lord, help me remember when I am talking, I do not see or learn much!

A Sharing Attitude Jun 9

 

        Try to avoid the entangled consuming ideas that advertise you can live without problem and live longer. They become traps! Life is too rich to get caught in keeping up with stuff. Share all. Try not to accumulate too much. To stockpile or hoard things in your life confuses a major principle of God’s kingdom.  Live to be a channel of giving for every talent, every bit of money, each gift and every resource. Let them flow through you in ways that can enrich the kingdom. Even try to think of your forced bills as gifts to help keep someone’s job. The risen Lord will supply your needs through your faith. Let abundance become what you only need to use by passing all you can to others.

        Prayer: Help me live through a gift economy to honor you, everyday you give me.

 

Thoughtful Meditation Jun. 8

 

        On many occasions, Jesus explained in scripture that if you were thirsty to come to Him and drink. When the body craves water, it yearns for something it cannot do without. When your spirit dries out in drought, it craves a symbolic moisture.  When you drink the Holy Spirit, He will indeed cause the living waters to flow from you. But you have to say, “Make the connection.” Into your reason and emotions will rush the correct ways of the kingdom. Persistent meditation helps condition and absorb your spiritual drink and food.

        Prayer: Lord, every day, direct and go with me to that place flowing with living waters.

 

Remember Jun 5

 

        What Jesus the Son, reveals to you is a living WAY of life, not just some different ideas. But while growing for the latter kingdom, your physical thinking experience comes first, then follows stimulated, expressed reason from the Holy Spirit. As you think about the quality energies of things of the Kingdom, like hope, love, trust and peace, place them into your day-to-day routine. Holy Spirit gives you divine action within, as Jesus responds to his own action on your behalf. Your partnership motivates your calling which has divine behavior backing human action.

        Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me understand and mold my conduct more clearly today by your design.

 

 

 

Support Jun 4

 

        A random event, some misconceived fate or some accident does not guide you. Slow down, Stop and remember Jesus IS THE Christ! Never feel strange when you think otherwise but keep faith and believe in God’s all-powerful Grace. Trust everything to Him.  He keeps you.  You have His purposes to fulfill, and he will keep you on the path if you pay attention. He is always your hope and strength.

        Prayer:  Lord, help me pay close attention today for heavenly guidance you have given to earthly matters.

 

Who Speaks? Jun. 3

 

        As you read and meditate on these words, remember who can speak to you.  Jesus and Holy Spirit are one. Be not afraid but stay in the shade of the Almighty. Resting in that covering is your safe place. Walk with him as a friend. He will never let you down even when you do not always understand.

 Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for being a Savior and friend.

 

Eternally linked Jun.2

 

        Since you are connected to Jesus by heavenly Father’s divine will, who you are and what you do keeps an eternal link established. For instance…Can your lungs do without air? Can your senses do without response? Can your emotions do without love? Can your spirit do without truth? Can your better nature live without beauty??  Trying to be a whole person without Christ is like trying to sit on a three-legged stool that has only two legs standing. Stay faith-bound.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may I remember, just as you reveal your Son, we can be connected completely to you.

Knowledge Jun.1

 

        You will know as much of heavenly Father as you are willing to see his truths and put them into practice. Often think of Jesus as your daily partner. Be careful of impulse which often runs on emotion. Emotion with reason can feed intuition. The Holy Spirit can and will work through your intuition. Then, correct action will become the result of your intuitive thinking.

 Prayer: Lord, help me reduce the spaces today when I don’t think of you.

 

One Christian Signpost May 26

 

        No matter how someone else treats you, love them in Jesus’s name and do not let their behavior, which may be frustrated against God’s kingdom guidelines, change how you treat them. You are heavenly Father’s clear representative in the world. For you to keep peace when being misunderstood, practice responding to everyone with courtesy and generosity, even to those who on the surface do not seem to deserve it, all honors spirit growth. You do not have to throw your pearls before swine but let your nature be one of generosity. If you must err, do so on the side of Love. [Jo. 13:34.]

Prayer: I need you to increase my love today, Lord.

Decisions May 25

 

        One of the greatest things heavenly Father has created, besides the whole universe, exists as… the ability of choice in growing human character. The ability to choose is an extension of the Father’s love and creativity. Along with this, He will help you change by choosing to become more than your givens. You may think you have no choice in certain things. However, look for other opportunities already in place, believing your decision to go beyond your circumstances. He will give you signposts right in front of you. His power continually flows for you. You can always choose.

Prayer: Oh Lord, I do choose your way this day and more that you have I may not even realize.

Meaning of Forward motion May 23

 

        In your life journey, living can move up, down, front, back or sideways. The life-positive music the Lord sends may help you step sideways and up. Distorted earthly music, life/negative, causes you to step down. Sometimes you must go sideways and then up as a time of reflection. But Christ wants you always to go up and forward. The past stays in the past. You are more than conquerors. Your yesterday is today’s future. The present was yesterday. God’s time and connections will differ from yours. Stay alert. Move forward with decisions.

Prayer: Lord, help me forget the past negatives and move forward.

Best Prayer May 22

 

        Your best prayer is the time during the day you consciously remember God’s presence. Talk with Jesus more throughout your specific activities. Discuss things with him as with your best friend who truly listens, at the right moment, without answering back. This action makes walking in the Spirit a practical, everyday experience.

Prayer: Lord, wake me each day in prayer to heavenly Father. Jesus, help me remember to pray every breath I take.

Shared Trust May 21

        And Jesus said: Even as Savior, you are My friend, My joint heir, but also My disciple. Just as the first disciples of old went about sharing with no thought of their immediate needs, you can go with the truth of abundance. With a cheerful heart, make everything you do a gift in God’s name. And I, the Holy Spirit, will take care of all your needs. The sharing creates one road to Joy.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your abundance, and help us remember to share.

Past Behavior May 19

 

        Let go of the past. Jesus has forgiven, blotted out your past. All is healed. Why pick it up again?  When you travel on a journey, you do not go back to each place and dwell upon where each place takes you to get to the next place. The present moves to the future so each day heavenly Father helps you live anew. Whether triumph or failure, let the past go. Anticipate with faith the present. Dwell upon the prayer of the Now and move forward. Who will you meet today that needs help?...maybe just you or some person you see every day. What shall you and the Holy Spirit do together today to honor the heavenly Father? “…Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven…”

Prayer: Lord, keep us aware to find ways to live correctly in the now-future. 

 

 

 

 

Listen May 18

        The right word, clearly spoken on God’s behalf, promotes a good thing. But today…. listen someone into forgiveness, allow time for clarification; you might listen someone into health. Listen to their pain, their anguish, their frustration, all their underneath meanings without you trying to give any answer or correction. Hear their story.  Let them know you really do hear. Do this in the name of your Lord. Remember, words are the avenue to define relationship.

 

Prayer: Lord, in our better moments, we admit our tongue is too busy. Help us remain compassionate hearers of others. 

Heaven Stories Mar.17

 

           Suppose while in heaven, you had the chance to tell each angel a story of your good experiences and each would hear it as new and each angel could feel the experience, would you be able to share events that showed your best potential in Christ? Would those episodes prove worthy in eternity? What if you could see all the connections?

           A significant goal in this life is when you can fully accept what you are potentially in Christ; this then begins the framework what you may actually become in heaven reality.

           Prayer: Lord, help me to think less of past experiences and move forward by setting my mind upon what I can become for Christ.

 

What is Right? Mar.16

 

           Any work to which the Heavenly Father commits Himself will be empowered by His  glory. Glory means He remains in a magnificent only first. He allows us to share through his Son, but He remains in control. Any work needs to answer the question: Is some work effort following glory to heavenly Father or just to individuals only?  There often exists a divine principle: The greater a work’s true value to Jehovah, the less eternal human recognition there will be. Any work becoming effective in the divine purpose must be conceived by the Holy Spirit who stabilizes the existence of Jesus, the Son… See the everlasting word in Eph.1: 11-12. 

           Prayer: Lord, help us remember to live your glory which only  honors your Son through any of our personal works.

 

 

Best Contentment Mar.15

 

           When you happen to feel a contentment in your will for what the Holy Spirit is doing, then that peculiar ease becomes a substance guiding completeness. You may then vibrate in love, God’s Grace, as your exercised faith as you grow endurance. You can continue unlimited contentment, every day spent, as a God-given strategy for living. James 1:2-4 shows insightful consideration.

 

           Prayer: Lord, help me recognize and do my part to remove any defects that hinder my covenant with you, so I can journey closely on your path of Grace.

 

Find Patience Mar.14

 

           Because of your earthly, linear time that continues straight ahead, whether backward or forward, many prayerful desires or requests seem to linger by delays without answer. If your concerns diminish by delay or lose specific momentum, they may have entered a different time frame like that of heavenly Father or not have been according to the will of God in the first place. Heavenly values are not disregarded by your misdirection.

          

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding us, our time is not the only time. Your heavenly existence embraces our time. Although we do not always understand, help us grow our patience.

Soul Need Mar.13

           As a Jesus believer, sometimes you hunger for an alone time, a time to float, collect yourself, silence trials of internal thinking, stop internal noise of your everyday strivings. At other times, you wish for like-minded souls with whom you can relate and identify, those who create feelings of togetherness, caring and community. When you have too much solitude, you yearn for community. When too much community exists, you thirst for some time alone. For your soul’s best stability, try to create a contentment by focusing on a deliberate balance. You choose the adjustments and action for helpful balance, but Holy Spirit never leaves you alone.

 

           Prayer: Lord, through every day given, help me harmonize solitude and community.

 

Personal Prayer May 12

 

        Can you see why prayer pleases God? It is because He is teaching you what to pray for; not some mode of praying but talking on a regular basis aligns your conscious concerns. You will discover praying for the things God will be doing anyway but learn to pray with your questions. Prayer re-creates divine awareness and consciousness in your spirit as you struggle in the physical world. You are never alone without God’s embrace.

Prayer: Lord, thank you, for giving us a direct connection to your Spirit.

Routine May 11

 

        Each new day demonstrates a spirit awakening. Struggle to turn around your strategy and adventure. Instead of getting up each day focusing on what will happen physically, think about the possibilities of your spirit. Each principle of heaven mixes with earth. They connect. If you seek first the kingdom of heaven that surrounds the believing, covenant people of Christ, each need will be added to you. The Lord gives and wants you to enjoy the physical as you apply spirit lessons of growth. Advancing your career, making money, any physical necessity can flourish within a gift economy of fun, peace, and delight for others as you cultivate Christ friendship. When life is too hard, you have put too much value and search on buying life instead of trusting heavenly Father to provide. When waking in morning, think: “Lord who are we to be today?”

Prayer: Lord, help us see the fun and adventure in spiritual growth.

Daily Action Plan May 8

 

        When you plant even a small seed every day for Lord Jesus, he will take care of the fruit. Share a kind word, a gift of money, a touch in his name, a directed prayer not usually asked, sharing a compassionate presence. Do this in Jesus name because He already hears and you have lived the greatest parable in Mark 4:8. Send out a good seed every day. Push it out there and let the Spirit grow it. There are never too many seeds. Some make it and others don’t. But Holy Fruit knows how to honor the heavenly Father.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me pay attention today to sow a seed for you.

Your Pace May 7

 

        The world may hurry you to keep its pace. This may cause you to spend time with the wrong things. Pause and take time with the Holy Spirit. He will lead one step at a time. When you rest and contemplate in your soul, God’s Spirit can guide your thoughts and actions. Do not panic---that is the flesh and the world pressing in on you. When the world says “hurry,” pause and rest in Christ. The Lord, does not want you to stumble. You fall because you are not closely paying attention to what scripture teaches….Rest, pray, think with Jesus as your friend. Embrace the scripture word, then, talk with the Holy Spirit and listen with your spirit. 

Prayer: Lord, I am so grateful I can talk with you daily and I know you listen because you never get in any false hurry.

Beauty Exists May 5

 

        Heavenly Father’s Spirit, His Beingness moves from everwhen to everywhere to everlasting. Try to filter everything through the Spirit. With much ugliness in the world, he has given us Beauty through the Spirit to offset some evil. When pleasing music abounds, He is here. When the right art captures the eye, He is here. When written words speak truth, he is here. When a bright moon or a comet touches the awe and wonder in us, He is here. Beauty represents his purity of innocence, found in His Son, his intended love and forgiveness happening through creation. Slow down to absorb beauty for soul peace.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the beauty of innocence, like that of a child or the fragrance of a flower.

 

A True Highway May 4

 

 When Jesus spoke of spreading the kingdom of heavenly Father in Mt. 5, some suggestions follow:

Poor in spirit—the kingdom of Need. . .connects and describes a condition of surrender to fight lostness and loneliness.

Mourn—the kingdom of Sorrow. . . fights selfishness because feeling for another’s pain and hurt for confused world.

Meek—the kingdom of Yielding. . .overcomes stubborn pride by submitting self-will instead of power makes right.

Hunger and thirst—the kingdom of Appetite. . .search to define balance of  right and wrong ways to live this world.

Mercy—the kingdom of Kindness. . . rids harshness and misplaced pride. Tool for creating ability to absorb hurts of people and learn forgiveness.

Pure in heart—the kingdom of Cleanness. . .defeats making excuses, develops clear honesty when any lying, jealousy, or envy slips in.

Peacemakers—the kingdom of Harmony. . .disarms roots of anger that lead to hate being a way to correct.

Persecuted—the kingdom of Loyalty. . .endures being betrayed, helps to learn love even for the unlovable.

Accused falsely—the kingdom of Perseverance, withstands being judged and misunderstood while Heavenly Father recreates the universe.

        You may not succeed in one kingdom until you have grown sufficiently through the kingdom that goes before or after. They are linked, but from time to time, you may move in and out of one or all of them in order yet sometimes out–of-order. They connect and reconnect!

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the blueprint of your greater kingdom through the smaller kingdoms. Help us follow each day.

Failure May 2

 

        Try not to spend much time thinking back upon your failures, dwelling on your excuses, or even any immaturity from them. Lean on the Holy Spirit and you will have the power to put all things in the proper place. Your age may not matter. Your attitude and character does. Heavenly Father has placed many things in subjection to humanity, but He has not given up total control. Search with the Holy Spirit for your special insight. He still guides any journey when allowed.

 

Prayer: Lord, keep reminding me today that you direct our path.

Struggles May 1

 

        When you enter the path of joy or pain, comfort or discomfort, knowledge or questions, the journey may not always be for your direct edification. The Lord continually seeks those who need salvation. You may enter a struggle with Christ for the sake of someone else. God’s compassion leads to your passion. Even if you are tempted to question or fear . . . remember, God looks to save throughout the universe, and you may be traveling with Him. He will lead. You are to pay attention and follow.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me remember the Holy Spirit works always through pain or prosperity.

Forgive Behavior? Apr.30

 

           What about passing judgement on someone’s behavior? Even forgiving another’s behavior? We need to leave that for heavenly Father to judge. We are to let the Father’s Love settle in us, so we can forgive another person’s original humanity made in the image of God. There may be exceptions, but Who they are may be innocent or guilty, depending on their choices or circumstance. Believe it or not, the Heavenly Father loves them more than we can, including our deliberate enemies we think need justice. Pray and desire for the best, even for those who appear vilest in behavior. “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” must remain our attitude.

           Prayer: Lord, help us love more and judge less.

 

Work Apr.29

 

           You need not force yourself to do God's work. Your body should not force the Spirit. Relax in Christ, be receptive enough to accept his work and endure, and then have your spirit bring the body along. God is not a scorekeeper. If thought as a game, it stays already won. Christ will give the opportunities for any task. Heavenly Father is the Love-life that energizes the body and soul. He grows your spirit essence for your decision-making soul that influences your body, while His kingdom keeps moving along.       

           Prayer: Lord, help me daily to keep my spirit in harmony with your Spirit and with my body.      

 

What is Sin? Apr.28

 

           Earthly definition may give a rational explanation for sin, like there could be no good without evil-sin, but all the reasons are too human. When you cross over to the other side, heavenly Father will show the real reason for evil and that knowledge will bring you such joy that it will take the heavenly atmosphere for you to be able to stand it. Know this: Ending Sin is not the complete point of salvation. You can only partially understand God’s eternal balance right now. Have the passive energy in faith in the not knowing of this dimension and what is yet to come. Have faith in the All-Knowing, All-present heavenly Father.

           Prayer: Lord, all I really know is. . . thank you for saving us from sin destruction.

When tired Apr.25

 

           Heavenly Father made creative energy to work its way throughout our step-by-step linear time. The Holy Spirit does the connecting. Yet, energy flows through establishment and change. Sometimes God works changes outside of earthly operating time by rearranging the distribution of energy without consuming it. Remember the burning bush and Moses, the Cross and Jesus’s resurrection.  Sometimes the energy may be light [insight], sometimes music [peace], sometimes art [beauty], suffering [character building], life in a seed or person[future change]. Life challenge is all around you. When you feel you cannot go any longer, tap into the energy.

           Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving us hidden strength when most needed. Help us trust.

Your journey Apr.24

 

           Because the Holy Spirit stays jointly with you, when you practice God’s presence, you have a divine partnership. God can and will prepare the way. Many obstacles may appear in your path. That does not mean divine help is absent. Disrupters of life appear but the Spirit will guide you through the journey. He is present although you are unaware. You will get through as scripture promises. Your final challenge is not each hurdle, but the waiting for God to carve out the way. He prepares the seasons, the flavor of life, and the hearts to make your way for the right connections. Pay close attention. All things do work for what's best who remember Christ.

           Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving the true Way and helping us recognize what we should learn.

 

Behavior Apr.23

 

 

           One small deed that honors heavenly Father will be worth countless words. In the beginning, like in Eden, when humans replaced God’s trust with the substitution of false words, humanity started hiding itself behind language. Words are of the physical senses. The Lord may speak to you with other means, heavenly connections, often seeming invisible. Like a generous act of giving shows and speaks more volumes than words.

           Prayer: Lord, help us keep growing with the fruit of the Spirit, displaying generous action with all we learn to serve.

Winning Apr.22

 

 

           You have already won because you have the ‘more than’ from the DeVine creator. Do not fear any changes in your life. Change brings greater opportunity to practice more of heavenly Father’s  presence. In practice comes the assurance you can conquer. Holy Spirit being with you gives a constant reminder of your personal forgiveness and mercy. Walk as truly forgiven, fully renewed, and fully accepted by the Grace of the Father. No earthly event can satisfy your thirst like knowing God’s consistent presence with you.

           Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that with your help, we are more than adequate for any task.

 

Home Apr.21

 

           Your body, as a house, remains My home. Your house is My home as well. Turn no one away without some little Love kindness. I, the Lord, may have sent someone to you, put in the heart an impression to visit you. When you serve them, you serve Me.

 

           Prayer: Lord, remind me to pay attention to any person who surprises today. Help me honor you.
