      Solomon, in all his glory, concluded the best thing a person can become for life expresses itself as happy in your work. Work involves all that gives definition of what life has to offer and how you accept it. It remains a proving ground for character.

 

Prayer: Lord help me to be good news in any of my work and spread affirmation rather than bad news and negation.

    Throughout the day, repeat My name. Say the word. Sing the word. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Prayer, that turns to praise, honors Me.

 

Prayer: Lord I do praise your name Jesus.

 

Grief Aug.5

   To you who seek Me, I the Lord, am good to those who wait on My will. Be as silent as you can, listen and wait with your decisions. I will not reject forever. If I seem to cause grief, then I will also respond with compassion according to My abundant loving-kindness. For this reason, I do not inflict without some larger purpose.. You cannot see the whole picture. The grief of My sons and daughters stays only for a season in order to balance justice and mercy.

Prayer: Lord, I know I do not fully understand all you plan but I want to fully lean on your Spirit for guidance.

     Prayer definition cannot remain some leisure-time activity. It is life. It accomplishes more than a mode, type, or style. Prayer should be so much a part of you that it wells up from within when you least expect it. Make conscious effort to pray, “Father, help me to know what you have purposed in the Christ and to love that more than I love my own life”. Do this three times a day and soon, prayer will become deeply buried and imprinted on your soul. It will rise again when needed.

Prayer: Father, help me to know your voice and your impressions in my prayer life.

Patience Aug.3

        Why is patience so important?  Think about an example. Suppose when you die, you receive a new name, a new song, and a new crown designed to show all in heaven your experiences in story form. You then get to tell every angel, every individual-being your story throughout eternity, every detail about serving and honoring Me. You will know this in the right perspective then. So, it would take an eternity of patience to share with every being, especially as you listened to others who shared as well. Besides, patience motivates the meek. Blessed are the meek.

 

Prayer: Lord give me the right patience to listen to others, no matter who.

Money Aug.2

      When you use your money just for things, you apply it to items that have an end. The money and resource become temporary and die. But when you move your money and resources toward the Father’s kingdom, toward helping others in My name, the money and resources come alive. The Holy Spirit can use money to breathe life into others you don’t even know about.

 

Prayer: Lord, teach me every moment how to use my finances so the Kingdom moves forward.                                            

 

The Material World Aug.1

The Material world                           Aug.1

      In all reality, you cannot live beyond the material nor can you in good conscience live for the material. You must learn to live through the material for something beyond. Behind every material result vibrates a spiritual idea. Think long upon this.

 

Prayer: Thank You Lord for reminding me that the spiritual life is what really matters to direct us.
