God doesn't just give us part joy and leave us to struggle through our other thoughts and emotions. He gives us the opportunity of FULL joy in Christ.

One Connection May 31, 2018

 The Lord said:

"You must practice shutting out your taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing to fully contact Me. Your body will make noises and fight you on this. Try and go to a quiet place; close your eyes; shut out all the noise you can and push your thoughts out beyond your surroundings. Let your spirit soar away from physical connections. This, then, can become your highest form of prayer. A large hole will open among the blackness when you tear through the great rift between heaven and earth. Move in spirit through the hole and linger in My presence.This is an earthly exercise, not some magic."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for continually teaching me ways to form better connection with you.

Struggles May 1

And the Lord said,

        

"When you enter the path of joy or pain, comfort or discomfort, knowledge or questions, the journey may not always be for your direct edification. I, the Lord, seek continually those who need salvation. You may enter a struggle with Me for the sake of someone else. My compassion leads to your passion. Even if you are tempted to fear, doubt or despair . . . remember, I look to save, and you may be traveling with Me. I will lead. You are to pay attention and follow."

My Prayer: Lord, help me remember the Holy Spirit is working always.

Are You There? Apr.20

My prayer today:

Lord, when I rake these leaves, help me talk to you.

When I visit the store, let me take you with me.

When I see a new child, let me talk to you.

When I eat my food, be there with me for conversation.

When I do my work, walk with me through the challenges.

When I have pain, remind me of your joy.

Lord, help me practice your presence in all things.

Gain April 13

And the Lord said to me:

       "You are always trying to get ahead. Instead, get- a- heart, that which you have given Me, the Christ. Any gift to Me, whether large or minor enhances the kingdom. Even tiny gift upon tiny gift upon tiny gift, given in true Love, will support the foundation of what I began from the beginning. Count the gains of this world as loss by giving them away to the Father’s glory."

My Prayer: Lord, help our ambition stay directed toward your light and your love.

Meditation April 2, 2018

And Jesus said to me:

        "On many occasion I told you that if you were thirsty to come to Me and drink. When the body craves water, it yearns for something it cannot do without. When your spirit dries out in drought, it too craves moisture.  When you drink the Holy Spirit, He will indeed cause the living waters to flow from you. Out of your reason and emotions will rush the correct ways of the kingdom. Accurate meditation absorbs your spiritual drink and food."

Prayer: Lord, today, take me to that place flowing with living waters.

Each new day brings a spiritual awakening. Strive to turn around your strategy and adventure. Instead of getting up each day focusing on what will happen physically, think on the possibilities with your spiritual insight. Each principle of heaven undergirds earth. If you seek first the kingdom of heaven, each need will be added to you. I, your Lord, want you to enjoy the physical as you apply spiritual lessons of growth. Advancing your career, making money, any physical necessity can flourish within a gift economy of fun, peace, and delight for others as you cultivate My friendship. When life seems too hard, you have put too much value on the worldly side of interest. Think on Me first in all things.
