All your appetite
follows from your essential personality, who you really are. Missing truth (Sin)
is our nature and clings to the core of us so that individual mistakes (sins)
are the results following most of our appetites. If we are a thief at heart, we'll
have a thirsty need to steal something, even though we just consider it a
necessary must! Life needs the power of the Holy Spirit to truly change our
nature and so to change our appetites. Jesus does not take away our appetites
but changes them with heavenly principles. Behind all appetites, the greatest
appetite of all vibrates Love and we must learn the right love which God can
give. Heavenly Father is not just love… He gives love!
Prayer: Thank
you, Lord. I know I have no secrets from you. Increase the part of me that
hungers for your right doing with love.
