“My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world my
servants would fight . . .” John said in chapter 18 verse 36. He is
quoting God from scripture. Negative aggression or violence tends to be the
response in a world for most wrongdoing. “You hit me, I’ll hit you back.”
This is not the response of heaven. Because you live a servant attitude, you
are to forgive by showing mercy. Forgive all negative, evil–doers --- not their
behavior, for that is God’s realm of judgment. You must, however, forgive the
part of them that is blinded and knows not what they do. Forgive their broken
humanity. Remember, once, you were in a state of unforgiveness yourself, then you
found Grace.
Prayer: Lord, help me remember that others may not
experience the same things I do, but they need a Savior in the same way.
