The Father’s strategy is sometimes like a large checker game, with pieces having minds of their own. If the pieces would only move and stay as directed, the game would be easily understood. But not so. Free will is a blessing but a never ending challenge. Pay attention to the Holy Spirit as to when, what, where and how to move your life.

Prayer: Lord, I see some of the pieces, show me more today.

Today. . . . sow every seed of My peace wherever you go and begin clearly several opportunities for a harvest of righteousness.

The ready response of gratitude for the things that are already yours opens new opportunity doors. To know and believe these prospects come from the Father enhances the Kingdom within. Look beyond and do not dwell on any negative, for My power embraces all your being. Experiencing Me in all the little things guarantees the cement of the larger. Many things have already happened in the kingdom for you.

        No matter how someone else treats you, love them in My name and do not let their behavior, which may be frustrated against My kingdom guidelines, change how you treat them. You are My clear representative in the world. For you to experience peace when being misunderstood, practice responding to everyone with courtesy and generosity, even to those on the surface, who do not seem to deserve it. You do not have to throw your pearls before the swine, but let your natural nature be one of generosity. If you must err, do so, on the side of Love.

Prayer: I need you to increase my love today, Lord.

The greatest thing the Father has created, besides the whole universe, emerges by choice---the human character. You are what you choose to become. You may think you have no choice. But, look for the opportunities already in place, waiting and expecting your decision making efforts. Obvious signposts are right in front of you. My power continually readies itself for you. You may choose.

        In life, steps can move up, down, front, back or sideways. The music, I the Lord send, helps you to step sideways and up. Distorted music, a life negative, causes you to step down. Sometimes you must go sideways and then up as a time of reflection. But I want you always to go up and forward. The past remains passed. You are more than conquerors. Your yesterdays are today’s future.

Prayer: Lord, help me forget the past negatives and move forward.

Your best prayers are those times during the day you acknowledge My presence. Talk to Me more throughout your daily activities. Discuss things with me like your best friend who truly listens without answering back. This makes walking in the Spirit practical.

Prayer: Lord, help me remember to pray every chance I get.

        You are My friend, My joint heir, but also My disciple. Just as My first disciples went about sharing with no thought of need-----you can go with the truth of abundance. With a cheerful heart, make everything you do a gift in My Name. And I, in turn, will take care of all your needs. This sharing creates the road to Joy.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for our abundance and help us remember to share.

        Never underestimate the strength of a seed. Within lies the power of the Creator, the growing urge to come to fruition. Remember especially those tasks in My name. Do not be overly concerned about the results. You are the seed bearer, spreading the kingdom principles. You clear and plant the ground. I will water and grow the results. See why we need to talk every day? When you plant the seed and when the roots are sufficient, the fruit will blossom.

Prayer: Lord, forgive us for always looking for a harvest, some result. Keep us sowing seeds of satisfaction for you.

        Let go the past. I have forgiven, blotted out your past. All is healed. Why pick it up again?  When you travel on a journey, you do not go back to each place and dwell upon where each place took you in order to get to the next place. Your present moves to the future so each day I help you live anew. Whether triumph or failure, let the past go. Anticipate with faith the present. Dwell upon the prayer of the Now. Who will you encounter today that needs help? What shall we do together today to honor the Father?

Prayer: Lord, help us find ways to correctly live in the now.

        The right word, clearly spoken on My behalf, is usually a good thing. But, today, listen someone into forgiveness, clarity or health. Listen to their pain, their anguish, their frustration, all their underneath meanings without you trying to give any answer.  Let them know you really do hear. Do this in the name of your Lord.

Prayer: Lord, in our better moments, we admit the tongue is the tail of the brain. It does wag too much. Help us remain steady hearers of others.

Inaction from despair does not define My kind of Rest. I am no trickster. Rest in Me means you trust My leading, My help, the secure knowledge that I go before you preparing the way. The scripture principles hint at how you recognize My specific guidance. Walk in the Spirit, work in the Spirit, Rest in the Spirit means Stop and ask: Is what I’m about to do enhancing the kingdom today?

Prayer: Lord, help us today, make the decisions to enhance the Kingdom.

        When you harbor anger, you cannot help but sin because your sense of justice becomes too human. I, your Lord, do not anger like you. My mercy is My justice and My justice is My mercy. I will never be angry with you in your human definition, for we are linked in the bonds of eternal forgiveness. Nothing can get between My love and you.

Prayer: Lord, I know anger comes from hostile fear. Increase our love so we do not use fear as a motivator.

Burdens May 15

Burdens            May 15

        When you feel My presence blocked or when you feel I am not there, it is because you are trying to carry the load of your burdens. Bring your cares to Me and show Me your heart of trust, then leave those burdens with Me. That specific leaving creates the moment you will once again feel My presence. You cannot see Me when you look through the strain of your own concerns. The habit of worry makes you look through a warped glass.  It blocks My pure Spirit because it remains too human.

Prayer: Lord, forgive us the blindness of our earthly concerns.

Hope May 14

        In your sinful nature, you maintain a trait of a beggar. But, you are no longer a beggar, but a friend. Ask what you will of anything a friend may share. I, your Lord, am your friend. Your joy is My joy. Your pain is My pain. Your hope is My hope. Together, we will conquer.

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for being closer than a best friend.

There exists no prayer, pleading or begging that will make Me more responsive to you. My Spirit always waits here. Things may not work as you design them, but I am working all things. My Love remains all encompassing. Still, pray on, because continual conversation with Me results in praise. Praise helps ring worship’s perfect note.

Prayer: Lord, sometimes we plead because we are not sure you hear us. Grow our faith so we know you hear us always.

Do you not see why prayer pleases Me? It is because I am teaching you what to pray for. Not some particular mode of praying, but talking to Me on a regular basis lines you up in your conscious concerns. You will discover praying for the things I’m going to do anyway. This harmonious connection pleases the Father. Just as I re-create you, prayer re-creates divine consciousness.

Prayer: Lord, thank you, that you gave us a direct connection to your Spirit.

        Each new day brings a spiritual awakening. Strive to turn around your strategy and adventure. Instead of getting up each day with what will happen physically---think on the possibility of a spiritual insight. Each principle of heaven under girds earth. If you seek first the kingdom of heaven, other needs will be added to you. I, your Lord, want you to have fun with the physical as you apply spiritual lessons of growth. Advancing your career, making money, any physical necessity remains a gift economy of fun, peace and delight for others as you cultivate My friendship. When life seems too hard, you have put too much value on the worldly side of interest. Think on Me first in all things.

Prayer: Lord, help us see that spiritual growth can be fun and bring joy.

        I look upon you with compassion. I see your every need. If you seem to lack because you spent time with Me, honored Me…. never falter; my love will respond to your need. Just as I fed the thousands long ago from a small amount of bread and fish, I will feed you literally and spiritually. My nature yearns to respond. My love is not a reluctant love. Be patient and wait on Me. I AM here.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for being available even when we forget.

        Listen for the music of heaven. The harmonious music of heaven helped establish the creative energy that made the world and universe. To you, it would be like Father sang the creation into being. No matter what is happening around you, reach to hear the perfect pitch and balance of the Spirit. Others around you may be broken. It is up to you to hear the peace, joy, wisdom that radiates from Me. One day you will not only have a new name, but a new song to blend with the heavenly music throughout eternity with the Father.

Prayer: Lord, thank you, that you gave us music as beauty to reach across any culture.

        If you will sow a seed everyday for Me, your Lord, then I will take care of the fruit. Sow a kind word, a gift of money, a touch in My name, a directed prayer, your compassionate presence. Do this in My name and you have lived the greatest parable in Mark 4:8. Send out a seed everyday. Push it out there and let the Spirit grow it. There can never be enough seeds. Some make it and others don’t. But Holy Fruit honors the heavenly Father.

Prayer: Lord, help me pay attention today when I should sow any seed for you.

        The world will hurry you to keep its pace. This is a mistake. Take time with Me. I will lead one step at a time. When you rest and contemplate in your soul, My Spirit can guide your thoughts and actions. Do not panic---that is the flesh and the world pressing in on you. When the world says, hurry---you rest in Me. I, the Lord, do not want you to stumble. You fall because you are not paying attention to what I have taught you. Rest, pray, think with Me as your friend. Talk with Me. Then, listen with your spirit.

Prayer: Lord, I am so grateful I can talk with you daily and I know you listen because you never get in a hurry.

        No matter who you meet or what the circumstances, give something to that person. The form of giving may vary. You may give a prayer, money, love, a kind word, some precious time, some part of yourself. The practice of giving shows the great heart of the Father, who from the very beginning of Creation, gave. Just as you try to filter everything through a relationship with Me, filter your thoughts through a whole economy of giving. For as you give, you strengthen the divine connection between all events and persons. The generous person walks in the abundance of the Father.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the opportunity of abundance and chances to give.

Beauty Exists May 5

Beauty Exists                            May 5

        My Spirit moves from everlasting to everlasting. Filter everything through the Spirit. With much ugliness in the world, I have given you Beauty through the Spirit to offset that evil. When pleasing music abounds, I am there. When the right art captures the eye, I am there. When a sunrise touches the awe and wonder in you, I am there. Beauty represents the purity of innocence. Grasp it for your soul peace.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the beauty of innocence, like that of a child.

 I spoke of spreading the kingdom of the Father in Mt. 5, I meant these principles:

poor in spirit. . .the kingdom of Need. . .connects with Me and turns away loneliness.

those who mourn. . .the kingdom of Sorrow. . .feel for others and fights selfishness.

those who are meek. . .the kingdom of Yielding. . .overcomes stubborn pride.

hunger and thirst. . . the kingdom of Appetite. . .defines right and wrong doing.

those merciful. . .the kingdom of Kindness. . . combats any harshness.

pure in heart. . .the kingdom of Cleanness. . .defeats jealousy and envy.

peacemakers. . .the kingdom of Harmony. . .displaces damaging anger.

persecuted. . .the kingdom of Loyalty. . .tolerates being double-crossed.

accused falsely... kingdom of Perseverance...endures pain of being misunderstood.

        You may not succeed in one little kingdom until you have grown sufficiently through the kingdom that goes before. They are linked together, but from time to time, you may move in and out of one or all of them, in order or sometimes out–of-order.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the blueprint of your greater kingdom through the smaller kingdoms. Help us follow each day.

        I, the Lord, am your Savior, brother, friend. You are My kin. Who you are in the heart of your beingness remains more important than what you do or don’t do. Let your doingness come out of your beingness. Let your actions come out of your essence. You are essentially linked to the kingdom of the Father because you are in the Kingdom and the Kingdom stays in you.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for staying my friend and Savior.

        Try not to dwell upon your excuses, your failures, or any immaturity. Look upon Me and you will have the power to put all things in subjection. Your age does not matter. Your attitude does. I have placed everything in subjection to humanity, but I have not given up control. Look upon Me for your special insight. I still guide your journey.

Prayer: Lord, keep reminding me today that you direct our path.

        When you enter the path of joy or pain, comfort or discomfort, knowledge or questions, the journey may not always be for your direct edification. I, the Lord, seek continually those who need salvation. You may enter a struggle with Me for the sake of someone else. My compassion leads to your passion. Even if you are tempted to fear, doubt or despair . . . remember, I am seeking to save and you may be traveling with Me. I will lead. You are to pay attention and follow.

Prayer: Lord, help me remember the Holy Spirit remains working always.
