What is the line between need and luxury?

As a Christ follower, I have a right to use for myself only that which will make me more efficient and more useful for God’s Kingdom. Beyond that creates luxury that can turn into self-centeredness.  [Acts 2:44-45].

Jan. 21 Physical body

This is not an excuse, but as long as we have something to add to God’s kingdom, He will repair the body beyond what we may do to go against it. It may not appear perfect but still functions. The Spirit of Christ comes through our bodies, cells and all.   [2 Cor. 4:10-11.]

Jan. 16 A Desire

Because we are made in God’s image, built into our nature is a desire to find Him and for Him to find us. Some interpret this yearning in other things like entertainment, sexuality, or achievement. But the yearning is still to find an original creator who made us. Look for Him everywhere and everywhen.

Death disturbs life. God disturbs life into goodness.

God guides every single day, not just in the occasional moment.

      Your most inner being, your essence, that real you will have the Holy Spirit verify the voice words as “this is it.” We may not always understand and accept it, but God’s word is always clear. Our hearing is what gets blocked. Isaiah 30:20-21.

How do you know when God speaks to us?

When the inner voice keeps arguing different points and perspectives, that’s the subconscious arguing self-interest. When God speaks, the result becomes a simple “that’s it” solution. It is often more other centered. God doesn’t argue. His persuasion is “that’s it” conclusion. And He always wants the best for us.

The signs of the time are all around us. We should not be surprised that God is remaking His creation into what it is supposed to become. And we are a part of it.
