Romans 11:33 reminds us we really cannot explain Jehovah. That is why we must turn our will over to trust His word.

When your will and your motivations are filtered through the Holy Spirit, your values in your morality become morality-plus, an ability to go beyond circumstances.

Jehovah forgives through His Son's restitution all we do not understand.

God's grace is so large that His love for us is as if we were his only child.

God provides the Grace and love to show us ways to let others become great with credit that looks like should be ours.

January 20 Just a Thought:

Often and maybe most of the time, Jesus spoke and taught with metaphors, symbolic thought like "You are salt and light." If you look deep enough, metaphors are really short stories. We enter stories so we can go beyond ourselves.

Jan. 18 A Gift

 

Is a gift still a gift if no one receives it?

An unaccepted gift still has the potential to experience a receipt.

Jesus remains a gift.

Jan. 17 Fact or Fiction?

Through the apostle Paul’s writings, his statements and life of faith support the facts of Jesus. The facts validate Jehovah’s love and Grace. The issue of Faith then, becomes the energy and action that helps join an individual to the facts.

Jan. 16 Some wisdom

 

An old evangelist quoted an African proverb: "Don't let the rats eat your harp strings." The message was to not let worry ruin your music.

Jan. 13 Grace Progression

 

Existence looked down and said, “I will go.”

Love looked down on hatred and said, “I will go.”

Peace looked down on brokenness and said, “I will go.”

Word looked down and said, “I will go.”

Word saw the darkness and said, “I will go and give light.”

Word became flesh and Jesus suffered the Cross.

Somehow Jesus kept his joy and glory through submission.

Up from the grave He arose.

We now experience the possibility of heavenly Father’s glory in creation.

Think about this:

If you truly believe God powerful enough to raise people from the dead, then he can protect us in our sleep, our ignorance, our mistakes.

God's grace is so large He can rebuild the broken and replace it as whole.

If you do one small thing to encourage God's kingdom, like gain a new heavenly insight or just say a kind word, God's Grace says your day was not wasted.

Surrendering to Christ also means surrendering that part of our willingness that does not want to surrender.

Jan. 7 Grace

 

Jehovah God will offer His grace to the degree He will give gracious credit for something when we do not deserve it. 

3 kinds of reality Jan.3

 

There are basically three kinds of reality.

(1   Factual reality. This perspective often comes from history. I can believe in an historical Civil War of America as fact, but that reality has not run through my stream of experience. Objectively I can believe in walnut wood without feeling it.

(2   Personal reality. I can believe in a Covid virus if I experience it firsthand. It can pass through my stream of consciousness. If I touch walnut wood, I believe.

(3  Ultimate reality. When I accept a personal reality in Christ, I discover a complete realness that combines the factual and personal to form a condition that is changeless, permanent, and beyond recall.

A thought Jan.2, 2023

 Obedience to heavenly Father seems to grow through the Holy Spirit by stretching faith, stabilizing belief, and shaping our surrender from part-time to daily-full-time experience. There appears to be growth times through each of these that may last a life time. God's unlimited Grace covers them all.

New Year: My Thoughts January 1, 2023

 If any posts happen this year, they will be my thoughts, inspirations, suggestions, whatever comes. I completed year 2022 of  direct "Jesus thoughts", one thought for each day. They may all end in a book someday.

Here is an idea. Since God (Jesus) is omnipresent and not run by our literal time factor, He is the ever present NOW. When you read Jesus' prayer in scripture back then, He is actually praying for us NOW.
