Misplaced Right Aug. 31

 

And Jesus reminded:

"If a close relative or friend wrongs you, you cannot use that as an excuse to give up patience, to give up on love, or to check the individual off as unworthy of your concerns. A specific wrong done to you does not justify your giving up on a kingdom value. All are precious in the Father’s eyes and mine as well. My love endures all things but one: those that reject Me."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, today I pray for every single one of my family and extended family that each may receive your Grace and favor.

Enemies Aug.30

 

Spirit of God said:

"In my higher reality, I have no enemies. Evil is my enemy. Many persons may treat Me as an enemy, but I love all so that some will become My friends. You are to pray for and love your enemies, so they too might become my friends. If they stubbornly do not respond, turn them over to Me but keep praying positively for them whenever they pop up in your mind. I will do the rest."

Prayer: Lord, it is so hard to love those unlovable who appear to be our enemies. But I want to do as you say.

The Unexpected Aug.29

 

And Jesus said:

 "Often I am NOT where you think I am. I am often in the unexpected. There ARE many things you can trust to be as you think, but I am also a surprise. All around you the resurrection principle stays active. Something dies, and something lives. This explains why I may astonish you as I did the disciples after I returned from the dead. The unexpected happens because the kingdom principles are not the same as those of this world. This is part of the reason you are to exercise your faith every chance you get. You live in the kingdom of service and surprise."

Prayer: Thank you Lord; I am grateful for your generous surprises and opportunities to serve.

The Unlikable Aug.28

 

And the Spirit reminded:

"There will be people in this world you do not like and with whom you do not want to spend time. Pray to love them by loving the potential the Father can give to each one. Learn to give them the heavenly love for what they can become in Christ. This does not mean you will like them because the ability to like is based on similar interests, talents, or journeys together. If you really want to like someone, you must spend the right kind of time with them."

Prayer: Lord I confess I do not like everyone, but I want to learn all I can about love that helps me like others.

True Forgiveness Aug.27

 I reminded you:

"Events will happen when people hurt you, misuse you, and treat you unkindly. In My word I said that when others do not receive you well, you may shake the dust from your feet and move on. I did not mean you should ignore them or forgive them only partially.  I mean do not let the dust of others cling to you in some form of unforgiveness. Turn your hurt and will over to Me and do whatever it takes to experience true forgiveness. Lay it at My feet, practice forgiveness, and then move on."

Prayer: Lord, help us remember we do not have to forgive all behavior of others. Help us learn to just forgive them as flawed humans.

Awareness Waiting Aug.26

 

     And the SPIRIT REMINDED:

"Remember, a time for talk always presents itself, but there is still a time for stillness. Let yourself acknowledge Me. Be still and know Me. I will help you listen your way into new feelings. Even when it seems like nothing tangible comes through, know that I am here. Peace and rest I give you. Receive the gift. As uncomfortable as silence seems, arrange your circumstance, and let yourself flow with the silence."

Prayer: Lord I pray for those around me, for parts of the world and for my own peace, where it is so needed.

Missed Faith Aug.25

 

And the Spirit said:

"You may have occasions when your faith wavers, meaning you start to rely on worldly principles or possessions to get you through challenges. During those seasons, you may be able to draw upon your resources, such as money, family, or friendship to solve some difficulty. This may not be wrong, but even when other resources seem exhausted, seek your special place; try to relax your mind and ask Me to remember who you are. Depend on Me to see you through any of your incidents of doubt. My joining your faith can move anything that seems like a mountain. Hold onto faith and not fear."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us your Son and for giving us faith to accept your word.

Facts Aug.24

 

     

 The Spirit taught:

"If aspects of your faith disagree with someone else’s facts of reality, are their facts necessarily untrue? Is your faith untrue? Know My scripture. Culture may promote what they believe fact based on experiment or science, but have only part truth, like the idea money will solve everything. The scripture teaches otherwise. Sometimes you’ll need to balance your head belief with your heart belief because My word teaches from heavenly principles. The reasoning of the heavenly dimension may confuse what gets interpreted as an earthly reality, but I will show you truth from facts from heaven and from any place you seek."

Prayer: Lord, help us avoid so much trivia of the world and focus on the things of Kingdom actions.

Attraction Aug.23

 

And the Spirit reminded:

"It has been said, “Whatever gets your attention, gets you.” Often, what gets your imagination gets your action. So, where your empathy, passion and kindness go, your actions will follow. Follow Me and serve others to balance a whole mind, body, and heart."

Prayer: Lord, remind us today to keep our eyes trained on the specific needs of others.

Disguised Evil Aug.22

And the Spirit reminded:

"The deceiver of truth plans disguised evil. Sometimes, it takes the form of a mild temptation, usually toward something that appears good, like setting things straight or some natural pleasure. Often, it grows into a little world of obsession which you will think about all the time, causing you to miss My faith opportunities in the kingdom of God. Recognize these subterfuges and turn the results over to Me. For instance, consider an issue like justice. If you cannot mold justice with mercy, then the justice you think you’ve found is only human. The Holy Spirit will not be present until the balance of mercy and right-doing occur. Sometimes to show true mercy may mean you forgo any human judgment by laying the issue at My feet."

Prayer: Lord, help us recognize your justice, mixed with mercy, as we deal every day with other people.

Mystery Guide Aug.19

 

And Jesus reminded:

           

            "Realize that Heavenly Father, Spirit, and I granted that I go to the cross, so we could allow the sacrifice to reach the higher goal of salvation for all humanity. This displays no contradiction to the Holy Trinity. We can perform as One without going against eternal harmony. You, on the other hand, have trouble thinking in threes without some contradiction. Have more faith in not knowing certain answers. There are other vast dimensions you cannot understand now. Eternity will reveal everything. Mystery remains unknown information to help grow faith."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to allow more mystery so I don’t have to know all the answers right now. Increase my faith. Help me trust you in all things.

The Best Aug.18

 

And Jesus reminded:

 

            "It is in your best interest to trust your designer everyday. Stone by stone, brick by brick, experience by experience I, your Savior, am putting the pieces together for the kingdom. Whatever is genuine, whatever shows loyalty, whatever promotes right doing, whatever encourages cleanliness of heart and soul, whatever shows beauty, whatever brings honesty; whatever presents itself as praiseworthy in My name: think always on these things."

 

Prayer: Lord, help us with our thinking today, that our thoughts lead to your kingdom growth.

 

A Void Aug.16

 

Holy Spirit reminded:

            "When your heart hungers for something more, when you yearn for some release, when you wish so much could be different—you are hungry for love. You may experience many loves, but My kind of love excels as the only remedy to fill every void. Ask for My love and you find hope." 

 

Prayer: Lord, sometimes I’m uncertain, but I want to know your kind of love above any temporary emotion.

Service Aug.15

 

And Jesus said:

 

            "I did not promise every act of service would be pleasant. A planted seed does not necessarily experience pleasure. The fruit brings the pleasure. You are to behave like the seed planted. You are to grow and show the life. You are NOT to simply hold onto the fruit. You must not hoard the results but share completely all that remains yours to give."

 

    Prayer: Lord, help us remember to be generous with everything we have, including time, talent, and         energy.

Firm Foundation Aug.14

 

And Jesus reminded:

 

            "I am He who was sent from above. Look at My words and look at My works, and you will see no confusion, no contradiction. All things come together in Me. You can fully trust I will do what is best for you though you do not see it now. I am Jesus of Nazareth, the name above every name, and I gave you the Eternal’s name: Yahweh, Jehovah, Elohim, Father, the everlasting foundation of all."

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you and continue with us as we search scripture for your reality.

Beingness Aug.13

 

Jesus whispered:

           .

 "Being made in heavenly Father’s image, your human personality vibrates as the highest order of physical being on earth. I am human with you, but I am much more than personality. I keep in motion an eternal kingdom way. I am that Way."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize you are the true Path for any life situation.

Mystery Aug.12

 

And Jesus whispered:

 

            "Mystery does not mean I grudgingly or reluctantly withhold knowledge or understanding from you. Mystery simply means sometimes more knowledge exists than you can understand at present. Don’t try to take the bite out of scriptures you may not understand. Instead, embrace the mystery by faith. Just realize you may not know now, leave it to Me and move on. You can know later."

 

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that you worked mystery to continue to challenge our lives for growing faith.

 

Falsehood of Sin Aug.11

 

The Spirit reminded:

    

            "If sinful thoughts and actions were the right paths for you, they would feed you. But when you follow their deceit, they bleed you."

 

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to remember that no matter how attractive sin may appear, it deals falsely every time.

 

Your Pace Aug.10

 

           And the Spirit said:

            "Because you know Me, you live not so much in worldly time, but already in My eternity. Select peace and a restful attitude in all the activities of any given day. My way leads to peace. Choose the resting rhythm of peace."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to take a deep breath and remember you in all my activities, especially with others.

 

Technology Aug.8

 

 The Spirit informed:

            "One big purpose of technology, whether cell phones, computers, drones, medicine, cloning, electronic gadgets that claim to define life, is to imply you can make life predictable and therefore feel comfortable. Some benefit comes from that. However, the life God gives always has the mystery of faith. When you label some instrument like a computer and expect it to solve all problems, you water down faith quality. You approach the temptation to take the mystery out of your faith when relying on a label to be an only solution, and yet, mystery creates an energy that keeps you searching, learning, and pursuing personal growth. Allow mystery----the I don’t know of life. You will never know enough about any one thing until you reach heaven’s gate."

 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me keep the mystery of your creation along with any specific knowledge gained for your kingdom.

Work Aug.7

 

               And the Spirit said:

                "Solomon, in all his glory, concluded the best thing a person can become for life expresses itself as being happy in your work. But the Holy Spirit offers more. Work is more than a job; specific work often defines what your life has to offer for your growth experiences. How you respond to your work becomes a proving ground for character growth. The Spirit wants to direct all your works. Stay alert to relate work experience with spiritual principles that come from My word."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me be good news rather than bad news in all my work and help me spread your affirmation.

 

A Reminder Aug.6

 

The spirit reminded:

                "Throughout the day, repeat My name. Say the word. Sing the word. Jesus. Jesus. Jesus. Any prayer that turns to praise, honors Me."

 

Prayer: Lord, I do praise your name: Jesus.

Grief Aug.5

 

        And the Spirit said:        

                "If I seem to you to cause grief, then be assured, I also respond with compassion according to My abundant loving-kindness. For this reason, catastrophe does not come without some larger purpose. You cannot see the whole picture. Any sorrow of My sons and daughters stays only for a season to balance some kind of justice and mercy in the universe. To you who seek Me, know that I, the Lord, do pay attention to those who wait on My will. Be as silent as you can, listen, and wait with your decisions. I do not reject forever like you may feel."

 

Prayer: Lord, I know I do not fully understand all you plan but I want to fully lean on your Spirit for guidance.

 

About Prayer Aug.4

 

               A reminder:

                "Prayer should not remain an occasional, leisure-time activity. It is much more than ritual. It is life energy. Prayer should be so much a part of you that it wells up from within when you least expect it. Make a conscious effort to pray, 'Father, remind me to pray and help me know Christ in all His purposes and to love those more than I love my own desires.'   Repeat the prayer three times a day and soon, prayer will become deeply buried and imprinted on your soul. It will rise again when needed."

 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to know your voice and your impressions in my prayer life.

Money Aug 2

The Spirit reminded:

                "When you use your money just for things, you often apply it to items that have an end or die. Money and resources by themselves are as temporary summer grass. But when you move your money and resources toward heavenly Father’s kingdom, toward helping others in My name, the money and resources come alive. The Holy Spirit can use money to breathe life into others you don’t even know about."

 

Prayer: Lord, teach me every moment how to use my finances and all resources to help the Kingdom keep moving forward.
