True Giving Jan. 26

 

       And the Spirit said:

        "The highest effort of giving needs you to give yourself away at every point you can: your relationships, your time, your resources, your care. When you learn true spiritual giving and then give, you can pass on any of your resources to those who need them. Even if people do not merit such gifts, give anyway, like the all-giving Heavenly Father. If you just give out of habit or duty, then the kingdom is not enhanced. It may be a worthy practice, but true giving always has a piece of you in it."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me give in ways that further your kingdom path.

Believer's Fullness Jan.25

 

 And Jesus reminded:

"The key to abundant living is the energy that results from paying attention to every detail possible. My Holy Spirit blends with you to give you energy reserves. Opportunities abound in the ongoing Kingdom. I am the Maker and Structure. You are My display window. I will help design the scenes of your life for others to view."

 

Prayer: Lord, for us to be your window seems amazing. Thank you and help me see the opportunities you bring.

How know when God speaks? Jan. 19

 We should not try to proposition God.

 For instance we say, "here are two choices, which one should I do?, then think God will give answer. If we proposition God, we open up the subconscious to argue and it argues for Self survival. Usually, we just present God with what we want then ask Him to bless it.  The true Holy Spirit just says, "Thus says the Lord," no argument and He will always agree with other scripture about Jesus character of other-centered choice.

Thankfulness Jan. 13

 

Then Jesus whispered:

        "When negative problems come into your everyday life, use praise to remove them. When I, the Lord, said you could remove mountains with the right faith, the springboard for this is to offer praise and honor. When you offer up “thank you” for the blessings you already have, the Holy Spirit has more permission to promote the generous heart of the heavenly Father and overcome the negative barriers, like fear."

 

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to continue an attitude of praise, even when I may not feel the emotion. Thank you.

What Now? Jan. 12

 

The Spirit informed me:

       "The time will come when your trust needs patience and longer waiting. Seek to be calm, be still, and listen for My voice, the impression of heavenly Father’s will. Answers will come, but often in the form of your chosen faithful endurance, while I work out details you are unaware. Later, you have another trusting. When you are certain your spirit agrees with My Spirit, then the time is right to claim resources in My Name. You may command it so—not demand it, but say with assurance, “let it be done.”  You are My joint heir and have access to all the riches of the kingdom and of this earth as well."

 

Prayer: Lord, move me today to that reassurance in your will that I can ask anything in your name, when I love my neighbor like you do.

Anger Jan. 11

 

And Jesus reminded:

        "I, the Lord, do not get angry with you like you have anger with sin-influenced thoughts. I can have a kind of disappointment in your behavior, but the anger you know is nothing more than hostile fear, a negative human emotion. In your soul, when fear gets tired, it turns hostile, turning first outward, and then reversing to turn inward. Anger in you fights against the peace I’ve given. That is why I said in 1 John that perfect love casts out fear. Accept My Love and trade your weaker emotion of anger for the better emotion of strong peace. Much more energy and power live in peace than in fear. Remember, faith stands in opposition to fear."

 

 

Prayer: Oh Lord, help us today with your shield of faith because anger creeps in on us so secretly we often miss it.

Action Jan. 10

 

The Spirit Whispered:

        "You may ask: 'How am I to live each day to grow in the kingdom of heavenly Father?' You do not have to look far.  Meet some need of your neighbor. Any person might become your neighbor. Any act laced with kindness, mercy, helpfulness, good attitude, polite participation, or caring for life can be a testimony of My goodness in the world.  Live those ingredients to help mold your own character for the kingdom of the Father."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me pay attention to one specific opportunity I meet today to complete a Christ-like action.

Small Prayers Jan. 8

 

And the Spirit said:

        "Pray for what seems small. Wait not for the large issues of life. Pray while washing dishes. Pray for those who got a speeding ticket, who need guidance in school, who have irritating sickness, who need traveling mercies, who have changes in their jobs, who just need everyday forgiveness. Nothing is too small because I, your Lord, am interested in all life events. They are opportunities for My kingdom principles to grow in someone. You may not know who, but your prayer can hold like a well-placed cement column, holding up part of the bridge. All things DO work together."

 

Prayer: Oh Lord, keep me strong to remain a standing bridge for you.

 

Waiting Jan. 7

 

The Spirit whispered:

  "You do not serve a reluctant Father who holds back from his child because he’s not sure you deserve something you have asked for. Delay may happen because of My unseen connections.  For instance, think on impatiently waiting on an airplane to arrive at a terminal? You experience delay because others on a different flight needed the resources of the airline.  Eventually, all the connected travelers that day reached their destination. The Father has everything worked together on His schedule, and since He is outside of your earthly time, you may feel impatient and inconvenienced.  That’s the time to pay attention.  When you must wait, stop, and reflect upon heavenly principles, then look for any divine connections. So as you wait—talk to Me."

 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I do want to stay on the right plane with you.

Harmony Jan. 6

 

And the Spirit said:        

    "One of the results of My coming to earth was to move you from darkness into Light. There exists no disharmony in the kingdom of Light. Harmony in music means perfect pitch, perfect tone, perfect vibration that creates satisfying music, and in the kingdom perfect love and justice, perfect service and power harmonize to satisfy too.  Earthly judgments are not enough to evaluate My harmonious kingdom. If you lack a sense of balance, you are off track from the kingdom principles. Seek the treasured guides of the kingdom in the scripture of Matthew 5 and you will find harmony."

 

 

Prayer: Lord, I am openly seeking the music of your kingdom today.

Future Jan. 3

 

And Jesus reminded:

        "Over anticipating the future tends to invalidate faith. Instead, look to the everyday adventure with Me. As a seeker, you are instructed to pay close attention to My words. Avoid the nagging temptation of doubt and be assured I Am with you now as your partner.  Fellowship with Me enhances the present in its fullness. Each day, one at a time, matters. Each day can be new."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me know you are here so I feel the newness of the day.

 

Absorb Jan. 2

 

            Holy Spirit reminded,                               

        "Matthew's Gospel says, “Blessed are the peacemakers.” What does it mean? There are many applications, but one important meaning. You will be more prosperous, blessed, when you show the love of the Father and can absorb the anger of others. Instead of reacting with anger of your own, you can return to them the power to fight their own anger/fear, by choosing My new love energy. Then peace is the result of my Spirit replacing your self-will."

Prayer: Lord, help me to take in another’s anger with the peace that comes from your Spirit.

Forgiveness Jan. 1

 

Then Jesus said:

        "Because the heavenly Father forgives you, you must learn to forgive. I, Jesus, do not ask you to forgive another’s behavior. You have trouble with this because the self gets in the way. This is why I say, “Daily, crucify the self.” When you start to dwell upon the actions and hurts of others have caused you, pride steps in. You will feel injustice and become angry and too critical. This will not allow forgiveness. So, I ask you to die to the self, full of false pride, and replace it with Me. Forgive the essence of others. Forgive them for not knowing what they do. Forgive because I am forgiveness. Let Me judge the behavior. Your task is to love them and their potential, what they can become."

 

Prayer: Lord, help me to begin this New Year with the kind of forgiving attitude that most honors you.
