Trust as Adventure Mar.30

The Spirit whispered:

       "What if a friend said he wanted to take you on an exciting adventure, but did not tell you all the details? As you traveled you became anxious and afraid your resources would run out. He kept saying all expenses were his. All will be all right. All was planned, just enjoy the trip. Could you let go of control?

       I, your Lord Savior, am your faithful friend. Learn to wait and trust for today. Let us continue the adventure together."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the spark of life that makes the living of it worth the journey.

Learning Mar.29

And the Spirit said:

       "Pay attention to all those around you. (Prov.27:17). You will learn from others, just as Spring follows Winter. There is a transition. Especially notice those closest to you. Even pay attention to your interruptions.  They may come from the Spirit. Awareness without your spiritual faith tends to produce fear and distrust. Stay ready and alert. Watch for the Spirit’s movements.

Prayer: Lord, help me be patient with those around me and the disruptions of life.

A Balance Mar.28

 And the Lord said:

       "In the scripture Micah 6:8. I, the Lord, remind you what I require of you: to do what is just, to show constant love, and to live in humble fellowship with the Father. His justice is His mercy. His mercy is His Justice. There exists no contradiction. His love sees to that. Communicating with me completes the link. As you speak to Me, take time to listen back."

Prayer: Lord, help me balance mercy and justice by your ever-present guidance.

Mystery of Disease Mar.27

And Jesus said:

       "The Father is willing that none should perish, but still there exists disease. 

       There are unique disease qualities. One is attitudinal and functions more from the mind. Belief and conditioning can create illness from environment and circumstance. These are event illnesses, functional in nature.

                  Other diseases of the body, like cancer, attack the very body structure. These are at least treated, if not cured, by medicines, surgeries, or technology.

                  Then there are combinations of illness which attack mind, body and spirit. These are so complex that often one area gets treated only to have another area destroyed.

       You may see a miracle or not. However, remember, when a cure does not happen as you thought, the Father has given a final cure in your resurrection. The Father ultimately heals all disease.

                  At times, I ask you to live in the holy tension and let mystery stay a mystery. The Father’s ways are not always your ways."

          

           Prayer: Lord, I will try to accept your way of healing in whatever form you give.

True Faith Mar.26

Holy Spirit reminded:

                  "The future may stay hidden from you because Faith still is too precious a commodity to trade for earthly knowledge.

       When you seek revelation, let it be for more faith-revealed knowledge of Me, your Lord. Search the Bible more. And still, true Faith sometimes means living with non-answers."

Prayer: Lord, increase my faith understanding in all endeavors.

Messiah Mar.25

The Lord said:

       "My needs are different. And yet, do I, the Messiah, have any needs like yours? I am holy Solitude. You need solitude. I am Love. You need love. I am the Father’s affirmation. You need affirmation. We stay companions in the kingdom in heaven and earth. Walk and talk with me."

Prayer: Lord, the one thing I know for sure is I need you every day. 

Courage Mar.24

The Lord said:

    "There exists a connectedness to all things. I know them all. Many are praying for you that you may be unaware. Trust in Me. Treasures of the kingdom will come to you: Hope, Assurance, Joy, Security, and Rest. Your courage can display My heart to give. I, your Lord, have planned your journey."

Prayer: Lord, thanks, you continue to offer us courage in these struggling days.

All forgiven Mar.23

Holy Spirit said:

                   "I, the Lord Holy Spirit, flow through you, washing away the negative past, like fresh rain cleansing a brook. Let the flow happen. Avoid any soul blockage of past shame, regret, remorse, or guilt. All stays forgiven since you asked."

           Prayer: Lord, thank you for your forgiveness past and present.

Trustful Giving Mar.22

   

     Holy Spirit said:  

       "Does not a good parent pave the way for a child? Does not a concerned parent give food, clothing, and shelter, any reasonable and possible desire? Trust Me for everything . . . not just some of the religious things. The Father planned you. I remain a partner with you. I give all for you.

       The Father will even supply your finances, especially if you direct all your resources into understanding His gift economy. He gives not just to receive, but to spread enrichment. Work to arrange your finances so you can give unreservedly."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for any abundance that comes from you.

                                                                            

Plunge Mar.21

Holy Spirit said:

                  "Immerse yourself in My words, for they have the power to put into action what they say. And lo, I am with you always.

       See Me as real working any task. I will carry out the work in you. How do you make me real? Practice My presence daily. Talk to Me daily in your self-talk. Discuss with Me every little detail, no matter how ordinary it may seem. I stay your constant friend, always with you."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the constant guide of the Holy Spirit.

Beauty Mar.20

And Jesus said:     

       "I, Jesus, will help carry any load for you. Struggle not all alone. By yourself, you become weary carrying a heavy load along the road and will lack good humor. You will miss the beauty all around because of being tired and burdened.

       When trying to bear your own burdens alone, a tree, a flower, a bird---all become obstacles in your path.

       When you turn to Me to help bear your burdens, a tree displays life of resurrection, a flower becomes the color of divine creative goodness, a bird produces the music of God’s creation.

       Ask for Me to walk alongside you, and all of life comes generously alive."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me to take pleasure in all the little things of your creation.

Remember Mar.19

Holy Spirit said:

       "No other religion or celebration can claim the unlimited grace the Father gives to any who would receive. Whenever you start to feel His grace draining away from you, pride sneaks in to take its place. Accept His word that His graciousness stays available. Let the enhancement of His grace warm you inside like sun on your face. You must trust."

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for without your Grace we would be nothing.

A Parable Mar.18

Jesus reminded:

       "Remember the parable of the Sower in Mt. 13. Most emphasize the Sower and the seed. But think about the ground. There was the shallow path; the birds ate the seed. Rocky places held shallow soil. Some seed fell among ground with thorns, which choked the good plants, but then some fell among good soil where good crops produced. You need to ask: What makes the difference in the soil?

       The Holy Spirit gives Love (faith), Joy (laughter), and Peace (openness) to plow and cultivate the soil. You also help cultivate the way you live your life."

Prayer: Lord, may I remain the right soil for kingdom growth.

Heavenly Stories Mar.17

And the Spirit said:

       "If while in heaven, you had the chance to tell each angel a story of your experiences for the kingdom and each would hear it as new and each angel could feel the experience, would you be able to share events that showed your best potential? Would those episodes prove worthy in eternity? 

       A significant goal is still when you see what you are potentially in Christ; this then begins to decide what you can become in actuality."

Prayer: Lord, help me to overcome my past and set my mind upon the possibility of what can happen for the kingdom.

What is Right? Mar.16

 Jesus reminded:

      " Any work to which the Father can commit Himself must end in His glory. Glory means He is first place. Any work needs to answer the question: Does the work bring glory to the Father or to individuals mostly?  There exists a divine principle: The greater a work’s true value to the Father, the less human gratification there will be. Any work becoming effective in the divine purpose must be conceived by the Father. See my word in Eph.1: 12." 

Prayer: Lord, help us remember to try our best efforts to bring glory to your Son in any of our personal works.

Best Contentment Mar.15

 And the Spirit said:    

      

       "When you can feel content in your will for all that the Father does, then that peculiar ease becomes the substance of all your perfection. You may then vibrate in love, faith, grace and endurance. You can reach unlimited contentment as a God-given strategy for living. James 1:4 shows insightful consideration."

Prayer: Lord, I do pray to recognize any defects that would hinder the kingdom of God, and I will walk closely on your path.

Rare Patience Mar.14

And the Lord said:

                  "Because of your earthly, linear time that continues straight ahead, many holy desires grow by delays. If your concerns seem to diminish by delay and lose specific momentum, they may have entered a different time frame or not have been holy in the first place."

          

           Prayer: Lord thank you for reminding me our time is not the same as your heavenly time. Increase our patience.

Soul Need Mar.13

Holy Spirit said:

       "Sometimes you hunger for solitude, a time to float, collect yourself or make quiet the internal noise of your everyday activities. At other times, you wish for like-minded souls with whom you identify, those who create feelings of community. When you have too much solitude, you cry out for community. When too much community exists, you thirst for solitude. For your soul’s sake, develop contentment by focusing on a deliberate balance. You choose the behavior."

Prayer: Lord, help me harmonize solitude and community today.

Do Angels pray? Mar.12

Holy Spirit said:

       "Some believe My angels have no need of praying. Let Me tell you, they exist in a constant state of what you call meditation and attitude of prayer, for they will to serve Me. You should pray as you breathe. It’s done best when you set aside your personal will."

Prayer: Lord, give me the will for constant praying.

Spiritual Hearing Mar.11

And the Spirit said:

       "Heaven is filled with angels and saints with new songs. Stretch your spiritual ears to hear the harmony of the chorus. Do some action to shut off the physical senses. The music extends to your world in the spiritual realm. The Father wants you to hear the peace of heaven."

Prayer: Lord, help me listen more deeply today, with my spiritual heart.

Forward Motion Mar.10

And Jesus said:

       "The Father, the great Creator stays interested in forward movement. When spending life, you have three choices: backward, status quo, forward. Backward means dwelling on past failures or accomplishments. Status quo goes nowhere and stagnates. Sometimes God will allow you certain sideways, lateral moves, but only so many. When making decisions about your future, interpret solid Christian growth with forward movement, that is, a new adventure, like striving for a new potential, a specific goal to spiritual enrichment, any effort to glorify God. The Holy Spirit wants to stretch your otherwise earthbound spirit."

Prayer: Lord, I know the present is yesterday’s future. Help me get ahead of the process and move forward in your kingdom goals.

Which REALITY? Mar.9

              Holy Spirit reminded:                                

       "With every physical result, there exists a spiritual backing.   Gen.1:1 and 2:1 promote that Creation came from nothing. Spiritual energy issues from the Father Himself and He was not created. Heb.11:3. Everything made has come from the invisible. What does this have to do with you? You live in a processed world; that is, everything gets evaluated, measured, and processed for its worth. How you view truth becomes very important. Here are two basic aspects of truth:  First, the physical reality occurs, for example, a book.  Second, behind the actual physical, the idea of writing exists. Millions of ideas and principles flood your world each day.  You are to grab hold of these and find channels to translate them into your world.  Your task includes making the intangible become tangible---the invisible become visible. The Father’s creative genius is in you. His Word strengthens your life-map for your own creations to glorify Him."

Prayer: Lord, help me today glorify your name with any of my ideas.

Life Today Mar.8

And the Spirit said:

"What is the true purpose of your living in this world dimension?   

Earthly living offers you adventure, education, and character growth.  Each day class begins.  Each end of day brings rest, class can end. But the Kingdom of God among the hearts of people becomes your true classroom.  The Holy Spirit does not rest as you do. He still teaches you when you are unaware and even in sleep."

Prayer: Lord, help me recognize and learn any lessons you have for me.

Tired? Mar.7

The Spirit asked:

           How can you keep going when you’re so tired?

And answered :

"You have the power of the plus-factor from the grace of God. His limitless grace empowers you with Holy Spirit and gives you faith and energy reserve for your need to endure, get better, or reach some new potential for Him. The Holy Spirit’s reserve is yours for the asking."

Prayer: Lord, I ask today to recognize any stored energy you have given.

Mistakes Mar.6

Holy Spirit reminded:

       "Can all your mistakes really be taken care of sufficiently? 

The scripture reveals the secret---forgiveness is the central core of love. Freedom follows closely. Any given day you can start over with fresh anticipation. I am with you."

Prayer: Lord, help me see beyond my errors just as you do.

Supreme Caretaker Mar.5

Holy Spirit whispered:

"Some ask what lurks behind the universe. 
What’s it all about?

         What secrets did stewards like Apostle Paul keep?

I Am the I Am behind the cosmos. I Am a non-created Being who watches you (the created) with complete attention. I do not leave you in darkness but deliver light of insight from the Father’s spoken and written word."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving us your word and answering the major questions of life.

Revealed Divine Secret Mar.4

Holy Spirit said:

"The secret of the Christian’s walk stays embedded in a magnificent quest.  The quest revitalizes spiritual energy. You are to re-evaluate, renegotiate, and daily review the strategy the Father continues to act in your universe, your town, your home. What is the secret of what God is doing?  It is only a secret to confound the proud and haughty.  For you who search, God’s strategy becomes abundantly clear:  He birthed a world; He birthed a physical Son; He continues now birthing a new group of people."  

Prayer: Lord, thank you for letting me be a part of the new people.

Perception Mar.2

The Spirit said:           

       "How you see life molds your present and future. A universal law suggests you cannot see one thing and produce something entirely different. So as a person thinks in heart, so establishes beingness.  Natural seeing is different for each person.  One person may drive to town, seeing road signs and businesses. Another drives to town, seeing desert mountains and scrub trees. They both get to town with a different view of what the world looks like.  So, when I say, have eyes to see I’m talking about another kind of seeing, a view that has spiritual content, flavored with MY mind of Christ.  What is that flavor?  It has the main quality of Salt and Light, absorption and penetration. You must look beneath the obvious and see unlimited spirit at work.  In this striving to see 'more than', you will get glimpses of the Father.

Prayer: Lord, grant me eyes to see your Spirit desires in all things worthy of the kingdom.

Look Inside You Mar.1

And God said:

"Accountability is not a harsh word. To hold you answerable is like a good parent holds a child, lovingly with only the best in mind. I AM not only with you in spirit; the Holy Spirit is within you, can stand beside you through all your experiences. I AM a very human Jesus who understands your weaknesses and who knows your need to overcome.

So, even during a negative trial or an outstanding joy, I will supply all your need, not reluctantly but with all abundance."

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for staying with us through all of life.

Small Tasks Feb.29

Jesus reminded:

 "You have the Holy Spirit who gives power of new beginnings with old wisdom. Ask daily for guidance in every little adventure. No task is too small to involve the Holy Spirit’s involvement. Your day will continue more smoothly when you talk to me about every issue because it allows more faith to work. You reach your better potential when you let the Holy Spirit guide. The point is not just talking to me, but the fact you spend time with me. Time spent with me grows your character and helps you become more like me."

Prayer: Lord, I do want to be a friend to you as you are to me.
