Power of Soul Oct. 31

And Jesus whispered:

"When you deliberately hide a negative and push it down, the subconscious captures it and places it in the depths of your soul. The soul houses your willingness. Self-centered will tries to hide other-centered attempts at honesty. Honesty becomes more difficult because those buried issues stay glossed over and hidden from the light. Ask My Spirit to shed light and reveal all, as I partner with your spirit for conscious healing and help you start over. Nothing is beyond my forgiveness except unwilling to accept my forgiveness."

Prayer: Lord, help me to be more self-honest because I know I hide nothing from you.

Relating Oct.30

And Jesus reminded:

"Since the Father revealed Me as a person to the world and to you, then the true path to Him flows through your personal experience. By asking, you can know Me personally, not trying to find Me through an intellectual exercise. The Holy Spirit must be there and connect us. My ownership of you, my partnership with you, and our special relationship are the roads you travel to truly understand who I am. Your experiences matter and need renewing often. Ask and couch your desires in Me."

Prayer: Holy Father, I do pray you would soak all my experiences with your life-saving Spirit and knowledge.

Trust Oct.24

And Jesus reminded:

"Along with trust can come emotional commitment. Trust implies mostly feeling. So, trust couches itself in the realm of emotions. Most reason gets abandoned when trust must feel for issues, like hope, in order to form a reality. Trust moves promise into actual present fulfillment. Trust in Me. Hope in Me. Then, live in Me. Trust in your future, but give full participation for what still happens now. Trust your faith. Faith your trust."

Prayer: Lord, I must admit: One of the hardest emotions to maintain faithful action remains with the issue of trust. Keep teaching us how.

Plans Oct.23

Holy Spirit said:

"I am the Architect. You are the builder. If you reverse these, life will get much more complicated. Only design your life through Me. Search and find My plan. Life may not be easier but will be more enriching for you and the Kingdom."

Prayer: Lord, help me find the right life plans and be able to read them correctly.

Keep Trying Oct.22

And the Lord said quietly:

"The amazing truth still exists: God, the Father, in all His wisdom and knowledge - - -loved you. As the Father created Me, Jesus, you can recreate yourself with me every day. Get up and move forward. The choices you make may be eternity's treasures." 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving us every opportunity to start new.

Creation Oct.21

Holy Spirit reminded:

"It is one thing if you believe the heavenly Father created everything and just turned it loose to progress as it would. In some ways he did with free will. But it is a higher belief to know the Father remains involved with His creation. The truth is one purpose of creation resulted in a redemptive rest, a peace that surpasses your understanding. Whatever else the Father does through creation, He wants to put things back in balance for peace and harmony. He established a counter-balance through the redeeming significance of His Son in earthly matters and initiated humanity's potential to obtain your Holy Spirit."

Prayer: Lord, help me make harmonious decisions in every aspect of this world, those that enhance the Kingdom.

Spiritual Appetite Oct.19

Holy Spirit said:

"Your appetite follows from your essence, who you really are. A Sin principle is your nature and clings to the essence of you and sins are the results that become the appetites. If you are a thief at heart, you'll have an insatiable need to steal something. If you are a liar at heart, you will find yourself lying when you did not mean to. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to change your nature and thus change appetite. I did not take away your appetites, but I am changing them to move toward the Father. The greatest appetite of all vibrates Love motive."

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, there really is a part of me that hungers for your right doing.

The Pronouncement Oct.18

And Jesus said:

"At My baptism, when the voice from heaven proclaimed, I was the Father's Beloved and the Holy Spirit came like the wings of a bird, all happened so other scriptures were fulfilled. But also, the event was a picture of resurrection and a reminder of what happens to you when you trust Me. Your perspective changes to other centered desires. You gave yourself to Me. You receive the Spirit and become My special child. There exists nothing more precious; not worlds or universes. Remember who you are everyday: Beloved."

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your gracious acceptance of me.

The Holy Spirit asked:

"Since you came into this world with nothing and you leave with nothing, is money or the material thing really worth living and dying for?"

Prayer: Lord, help us to stay focused on things that matter to your kingdom.

Think and Do Oct.16

And the Spirit said:

"If you hold an idea long enough in your mind, you may act upon it. Part of your imagination is made in the image of the Father because He is the creator. He has instantaneous creative ability. You must think about something for a while and then you put it into action, whether good or evil. Of course, He only thinks goodness. Be careful what you dwell on with your mind. Perspective leads to action."

Prayer: Lord, keep me focusing my mind on your kingdom guidelines.

Fear Dissolved Oct.15

The Holy Spirit reminded:

"One of your most threatening fears lingers as the fear of losing your identity, the fear of not belonging, the fear of someone taking your place, and the fear of having no place. This fear grows stronger if you seek only earthly ambitions to define who you are. In Me and My kingdom, you are already SOMEBODY. You have eternal place and identity because I’ve loved you into the kingdom of the Father. You need not be anxious about fear because it melts away with the Father’s love. I and the Father are One. Learn My love."

Prayer: Heavenly Father, turn all my fears into faith.

Surprises Oct.14

And Jesus said:

"I am not a reluctant Savior, meaning you must beg each day for my attention. In fact, every day I plan a new surprise, a new gift for you which contains My joy. Are you listening to receive? Pay close attention. My ways are not the world’s ways. Often, through different thinking or action, I am sending you a blessing. It may seem some hardship, a health issue, a financial message, or a family event. Potentially, any activity may become My channel because I love to give."

Prayer: Lord, help me remember you have injected your love in every cell of my mind, body, and spirit; that every neuron fired in my brain is bathed in your love.

Significant Connection Oct.12

And the Spirit said:

"Never overlook the constant connection of your inner being and your outward behavior. Even though you live in this world but are not truly of it, you are to build bridges between spiritual devotion and behavioral outcomes. You can see the difference between the example of Mary and Martha in Luke’s gospel, but they were still sisters. True fellowship remains the goal, not temporary circumstances."

Prayer: Lord, in this world of your connections, help me know where and when I fit.

Opportunity Experience Oct.11

Holy Spirit said:

"I want you to try something for one day. You may or may not see results. Every time you meet someone, in the quiet of your mind, I want you to send a prayer at the person. Do this with every person you meet: store clerk, family member, worker, anyone. Just pray at them, like “Lord help that person” or “give her strength”, or “in Jesus name peace”. Just say whatever you feel impressed to say. Do it a whole day and then, you might want to extend it longer. With this, you are practicing My presence."

Prayer: Lord, remind me through the day to keep praying for any I see.

Genuine Help Oct.10

And Jesus said:

"On many corners of your world, you can see institutions that promise to offer relief. Will you be free from struggles and troubles? Do you desire the condition of the non-believers who seem to have no problems? Does not everyone eat, drink and sleep? Is your constant goal to avoid suffering? The Psalmist [121] points you to a magnificent truth: Believers and non-believers can have the same difficulties, but the Father will protect you from evil. Events that happen to you are neither good nor bad but have the potential seed for either one. I may allow you a hard, difficult, uncomfortable event, but My Spirit keeps you from doing evil. However, it remains no accident in My model prayer that I prayed ‘deliver us from evil.’"

Prayer: Lord, I do pray to deliver us from evil thoughts and ways.

Small Items Oct.9

Holy Spirit reminded:

"Life intermingles like a mosaic. I am just as interested and concerned about the everyday little pieces of life as they fit together. Although you may not see all the connections, nothing stays too small or mundane but what it may be important to the overall kingdom. At the end, you may present the full mosaic to the Father and understand the connected essentials.."

Prayer: Oh Lord, help me pay attention to all the little pieces of life.

Your Divided Self Oct.8

Holy Spirit said:

"When your self-decision-maker becomes divided, surrender that self into My hands and make certain what you commit to can keep you working the kingdom principles I teach. Any challenge to use your energy needs to appeal to your best potential. If some issue only brings out the worst in you, it is not of Me. The Father’s Will promotes the best in you."

Prayer: Lord, help me know the difference between selfish non-best and legitimate self-interest toward the best.

Most Important Oct. 7

And Jesus reminded:

"As you live in this world, what becomes the most important result of knowing Me, the Savior? Is it peace? Is it abundance? Is it virtue? Is it hope? Is it heaven? Is it you will have your own kingdom? All are true and resting on one thing becomes difficult, but if you follow Proverbs 2 and gain its treasure, I will bestow a guide most precious: wisdom. Clearly there are two kinds of wisdom. One leads to selfish ambition and stays earth bound, not of the Father. The other comes from heaven and upholds Me, while it nurtures by the fruit of the Spirit. How is the correct wisdom attained? Proverbs tells you to start by accepting the entire word of the Father. In that acceptance comes good sense and better insight into life, relationships, and humanity."

Prayer: Lord, grant me the wisdom to choose the right wisdom for you.

Criticism Oct.1

And Holy Spirit said:

"Simply refuse to criticize anyone. Pray instead. Maintain a value of sensitive caring turned toward others. Let any tough-minded thoughts stay within, but do not be too hard on yourself. At the point of your harshness, forgive, and do not criticize anyone, especially yourself."

Prayer: Forgive us Lord. It is too easy to pass judgment upon another and often ourselves.
