And Jesus said:

"When you read in scripture the stories of the Prodigal son, Mary and Martha, the workers of different talents, or the occasion I told Peter not to worry about John’s business of growth, there remains a strong hint at the underlying factor motivating the kingdom and supernatural forces. Does inequality of personality mean more in the kingdom journey? Not really. But the underlying principle for what seems inequality is the risk/possibility factor. The heavenly Father took the risk of loss for Me, his Son. The Father withstood the loss. I, the Son, withstood the loss. The supernatural order risks all for salvation. Risk means possibility and becomes the motivator for the kingdom principles. Risk means lose yourself in Me and behave what seems to be impossible. Try to be God-risk motivated. The Father’s possibilities are never tricks, but faith-based appeals."

Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize the correct risks for the sake of the Kingdom.

Word Power Dec.30

 

The Spirit whispered:

"Even lights from burned out stars travel throughout the galaxies without stopping. What if words were so powerful that every word you spoke lasted forever, throughout eternity? Think long and hard about this and what you speak."

Prayer: Lord, help me be slow to argue my point and direct my words only as they should be. Help my listening be more powerful.

Be Glad Dec.29

 

Spirit said remember:

"In your usual routine, go out of your way today to help just one other person. Give away some part of yourself: a kindness, a smile, a joyful word, an encouraging idea, an act of mercy, any other-centered act. Do this knowing I go with each effort. Think how I have forgiven you. Each act can start new seed growth. When you plant a seed or show fruit for Me, you express a part of My permanent kingdom happenings."

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the newness of opportunity every day.

Keep a moment Dec. 28

 

And the Spirit said:

"Any day that you can clarify a spiritual truth, means the day was not wasted. I do not expect you to keep carrying the complicated, full load of life. I will carry the load. You just handle the small moments of a day, and then give the entire load to Me. My accepting your burdens makes your burden lighter."

Prayer: Lord, I am so grateful you share our burdens, even when we do not recognize what is really happening.

Focus Dec.27

 

And Jesus clarified:

"When I told My disciples to follow me, I did not mean just to follow certain rules or laws. I meant to pay attention and relate to Me, form a personal connection. You can screen all your personal involvements through our relationship. My love remains the foundation of our connection. Work all your involvements with love as motivation by keeping My love definition. Although you do not feel love sometimes, just BE other-centered love."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for loving us and teaching us love when we do not even know what we need.

Reassurance Day Dec.25

 

The Spirit reminded:

"On this special day, your life may seem off track just because you do not “feel” Me. Other signs, internal or external, may show you remain My follower. For instance, you may use intelligence or some unselfish act to display an expression as my disciple. Any act of mercy can demonstrate my kingdom. Some small move toward kindness expresses My love. Persist in the belief I am with you, no matter what you’re feeling now. Faith comes by trust not just some feeling. Whatever happens around you in circumstance, even if a bad feeling, trust Me."

Prayer: Thank you for reminding us you were born on a special earth day and that fact remains remarkable.

Learning Dec.23

 

And the Spirit said:

"Often, life exists as a school and not just time to spend any way you want. School means you look for and expect homework and perform your lessons as best you can. I remain your teacher. Pay attention and I will show you the way. Today’s lesson: It is a time for giving. Plan to simplify life and get rid of so much stuff."  

Prayer: Lord, keep me alert to your everyday lessons and help me give my resource to those things pleasing to you.
