Pay Attention July 10
There is a story of an uncle and great man lay dying. Very softly he whispered, “Go get my Bible. In it is $5000. Whoever reads Matthew 6 first can have the money.” All around him were many people because he’d been a man of many resources. No one heard the whisper except his alert niece. She got the money. She had experienced and valued the art of listening. I say again to you, in prayer: listen, learn, and obey.
Reader Prayer: Help remove any distractions of the day and let me listen to the Spirit.
