Real Death Apr.9
Must you come close to Death? Must you really believe you are dying and departing this earth before you can resign your will and say truly:"God’s will is my will, not my will but God’s will be done?”
There are many deaths in the pilgrim’s life. Die to the false self that wants only what it wants. Die to the material blessings--give them away. Die to anything that separates you from the growth love of the Father. Stay in the world but not of the world.
Prayer: Lord, help me understand the little deaths every day I must endure, so I can turn my full will over to you.
