Kingdom Pathways       May 4

 

 

 

I spoke of spreading the kingdom of the Father in Mt. 5, I meant these principles:

 

poor in spirit. . .the kingdom of Need. . .connects with Me and turns away loneliness.

those who mourn. . .the kingdom of Sorrow. . .feel for others and fights selfishness.

those who are meek. . .the kingdom of Yielding. . .overcomes stubborn pride.

hunger and thirst. . . the kingdom of Appetite. . .defines right and wrong doing.

those merciful. . .the kingdom of Kindness. . . combats any harshness.

pure in heart. . .the kingdom of Cleanness. . .defeats jealousy and envy. 

peacemakers. . .the kingdom of Harmony. . .displaces damaging anger.

persecuted. . .the kingdom of Loyalty. . .tolerates being double-crossed.

accused falsely....kingdom of Perseverance.....endures pain of being misunderstood.

 

You may not succeed in one little kingdom until you have grown sufficiently through the kingdom that goes before. They are linked together, but from time to time, you may move in and out of one or all of them, in order or sometimes out–of-order.

 

 

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the blueprint of your greater kingdom through the smaller kingdoms. Help us follow each day.
