        You have read in Matthew's Gospel, “Blessed are the peacemakers”. What does it mean? There are many applications, but one important meaning. More prosperous are those who can absorb the anger of others and then show the love of the Father. Instead of reacting with anger of your own, you can return power to fight anger, by choosing for My sake, to present new love energy for others to combat their anger/fear.

Prayer: Lord, help me to take in another’s anger with peace that comes from your Spirit.

Forgiveness Jan.1

Forgiveness                      Jan.1

        Because you are forgiven by the Father, you must learn to forgive. I do not ask you to forgive another’s behavior. You can never do this because the self gets in the way. This is why I say, “Crucify the self daily”. When you start to dwell upon the hurts others have caused you, pride steps in. You will feel injustice and become too critical. This will not allow forgiveness. So I ask you to die to the self, full of false pride, and replace it with Me. Forgive the essence of others. Forgive their not knowing what they do. Forgive because I am forgiveness. Let Me judge the behavior. You learn to love even when persons are unpleasant.

Prayer: Lord, help me to begin this New Year with the kind of forgiving attitude that most honors you.

Even lights from burned out stars travel throughout the galaxies without stopping. What if words were so powerful that every word you spoke lasted forever, throughout eternity? Think long and hard about this.

Prayer: Lord, help me be slow to argue my point and direct my words only as they should be.

When you read in scripture the stories of the Prodigal son, Mary and Martha, the workers of different talents, and the occasion I told Peter not to worry about John’s business of growth, there remains a strong hint of the underlying factor motivating the kingdom and supernatural forces. Does there seem to be inequality with people in the kingdom principles? In a sense there is. But the main justification for it vibrates as a risk factor. The Father took the chance for loss for Me, his Son. The Father withstood the loss. I, the Son, withstood the loss. The supernatural order risks all for salvation. Risk often becomes the motivator for the kingdom principles. Lose yourself and behave what seems to be impossible.

Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize the correct risks for the sake of the Kingdom.

In your usual routine, go out of your way today to help just one other person. Give away some part of yourself: a kindness, a smile, a joyful word, an encouraging idea, or an act of mercy. Think how I have forgiven you. Each act can be new seed for growth.

Any day that you can clarify a spiritual truth, means the day was not wasted. I do not expect you to keep carrying the full load of life. I will carry the load. You just handle the small moments of a day, and then give the entire load to Me. My accepted burden makes your burden light.

When I told My disciples to follow me, I did not mean just to follow certain rules or laws. I meant to relate to Me, form an intimate connection. Then you can filter all your personal involvements through our relationship. My love remains the foundation of our connected state. Work all your involvements with love as motivation. You may not feel love, but just be love.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for loving us when we do not even know what we need.

You may now be released from your fears and move toward fellowship. You can be released from shyness to abundant confidence. You may be released from guilt and move to My fresh start. With Me by your side, turn your efforts toward others’ achievement and fullness. Help someone today get the credit you may deserve.

On this particular day, your life may not be off track just because you do not “feel” Me. Other signs point to you still remaining My follower. For instance, any unselfish act could display an attempt to be My disciple. Any act of mercy demonstrates Me. Some small move toward kindness expresses My love. Persist in the belief I am with you, no matter what’s happening around you.

Often, life exists as a school and not just time to spend any way you want. School means you look for and expect homework and perform your lessons as best you can. I remain your teacher. Pay attention and I will show you the way. Today’s lesson: Simplify your life. Get rid of the clutter.

Today, channel your resources to others in active ways: listen to the unlovely, speak to the timid, give funds where needed, give your time and talent in ways that others might receive the credit. Then, your light will shine brighter as you have prayed.

As the scripture states I was born of a woman under the law [Gal.4:4]. This includes all law. The universe revolves around a Moral set of laws, like the four seasons, or gravity, or life and death. You are to learn to live alongside these laws. If you go against them, you will be wounded and finally crushed. The law of My love supersedes all other laws but does not eradicate them. They are meant to harmonize.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the forgiving law of love.

 If you begin your day with large interests and then try to come closer to Me, you will find this proves backwards. I do not want you grudgingly accepting My will. Start each day with wanting more love not forcing My will. Move to the inner circle of My love with the small interests by letting Me be first in every decision. I will expand what you need later. I don’t want you just to be something or to do something, I want you to feel a sense of belonging for all times.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for letting us turn all our decisions to you first before action.

No one lived before Me. I am the Way and the Way stays all around you. When you see a child laugh, you behold the Way. When you discover a brilliant flower, you see the Way. When you see someone offer mercy; you behold the Way. All creation gives hint of the Way. I, your Savior, am the Way. I did not come to create the Kingdom. My Kingdom was already here. I came to provide a doorway through the Way to the Kingdom of the Father.

Self-centered love gives to someone or something in order to receive back a greater portion. True love maintains a yearning to give only goodness to the object loved whether getting a return or not. To always expect a return tarnishes love. However, love given properly becomes its own reward. The Father will show you true love.

Continue to pray to overcome the weak points in your life that cause you jealousy, envy, or strife. You do not need to spend so much time praying to overcome negative people or situations. I will handle them. I am still in control. Just look to yourself and make sure the negative people don’t cause your weak points to emerge. Stay walking in the kingdom principles.

Prayer: Lord, help me today, to appreciate those who seem to prosper, whether I do or not.

You are always wondering which voice speaks to you. You say, “Is this or that of God? How do I know for sure?” There remains a constant test to know if I am asking something of you instead of the negative forces. Ask yourself: Will what I’m about to say or do glorify the Father? If the answer is “no” or “I don’t know” wait until you can answer “yes.” I help you combine spiritual thoughts with spiritual words to arrive as a partner with the Holy Spirit. If your activity or one you’re about to do doesn’t honor the Father, you may not need to give it up, but rather, turn it into God’s glory. If that can’t be done, then give it up. Your ultimate goal in life remains to move everything you do into glorifying the Father and the Kingdom.

     Prayer: Lord, keep showing me how to test the spirits.

When the Roman soldiers came to take Me out of the garden and away from My disciples, I did not say to My followers, “Ok, now let Me teach you a principle from the Sermon on the Mount.” I do not try to teach you the best when you are going through turmoil or struggles. You may gain insight but My best teaching and your best learning occurs when you are relaxed. Find that resting attitude, rest in your secret place, and learn more of Me. Take time to absorb our conversations, especially after strong conflicts.

Prayer: Lord, help me through the day maintain my devotional thinking with you.

This becomes the time of year to surrender all that does not line up with the law of love I have given you. Love all your neighbors. You do not have to love their actions. Love their potential in Me. Allow your faith in Me to rise up and challenge any question of your limitations.

Prayer: Lord, help me labor today to love those that are hard to love.

Make sure the enterprise you step into comes by faith through Me and I will send the appropriate resources you need. Success remains measured by My viewing how you enrich the kingdom and its people. How do you measure the enterprise? Ask: Could you perform the task without My help? Does it honor the Father by applying his true love? If you can answer these properly, resources will flow to you like living water.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that you measure success in a different manner than the world.

Just as I fed the hungry and mingled with the world’s problems, you must find your place to do likewise. My feeding and mingling was My spiritual essence at work. You must not totally separate the secular from the spiritual. Make as many things complete in Me as possible. Growing in holiness will help you serve the material with right doing so you grow to become whole. All of My creation needs My stamp upon it. You are the ink, the salt, and the light.

Prayer: Lord I do pray for your continued wholeness.

Just because something was done a certain way in the past does not mean it must duplicate itself the very same way in the present. Don’t let your worship of Me become such a habit that you overlook what may happen now in the modern world. Technology continues to change many things. I may not change My love, but circumstances continue to change. Move with the flow but keep Me at your center.

Prayer: Lord, I don’t want to be stagnated in any of my attempts at worship or misread any world changes.

You may love Me from a distance. But if you want to love Me close-up, remain IN LOVE with Me. Think and learn what it means to be IN LOVE. Then, look to your fellow Christians. Practice loving them no matter what. Leave their unworthiness to Me. Give yourself to them. This shows My Glory.

Be careful of half-truths. Your culture promotes a universal principle; that is, you tend to believe immediately 50 per cent of something when you know little about the subject. For this reason, people believe horoscopes, polls, and certain advertising statistics. KNOW your facts. KNOW your data. Do not live on half-truths. KNOW ME and I will give you 100 % truth.

Prayer: Lord, help me not rush into the half-truths so easily.

I know you can love individuals, especially if each strikes your interest. But you do not experience My full love until you can love the uninteresting, unlovely multitudes that are blind, unfeeling, and lost. You do not have to love their behavior. Expand your compassion by opening yourself to the larger world around you. You do not always have to be right. Practice kindness and with love, absorb their misdirection.

Prayer: Lord help me pay attention today to those persons who seem not to care about your kingdom.

Look around you. Your surroundings, your circumstances, Nature and the whole universe maintain intention and value. Certain values remain constant and important, like gravity. What kind of universe would let all your trials and struggles mean nothing at your end? Can death just wipe all away? For some, it might seem so. But death cannot exhaust My love. I will not let your life become a mockery. You have immortality. You will live on and grow. Take comfort in your present purpose. Know My intention will never be in vain because it continues. I am your eternal valid purpose.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me that through your Son’s love, you gave me worth and purpose.

If you feel 98% no guidance from Me and only 2% direction, follow the 2% because that remains better for you than operating on the larger amount without Me. If you feel NO guidance, then listen to the silence because often I am leading in the non-guidance. Trust becomes the goal.

The whole universe stands behind truth. You do not have to justify, make confusing rules, or complicate truth. You would have to complicate lying to cover any sham. But truth stands alone and verifies itself. Let your “yes” become “yes” and your “no” become “no.”

All around you vibrates the Father’s Way. So it is not, “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” It is rather, “where remains God’s Way, there resides a will.” All of creation ripples with the effects of God’s way. Look for it. Allow His will to become your willingness.

Righteousness and intelligence should go together when understanding the Kingdom principles. A person who guides with intelligence and no right doing should be avoided. A person who tries to lead with righteousness and no intelligence cannot be as trustworthy either. Intelligence may only point to worldly conclusions. Righteousness alone tends toward emotional bondage. Trust the person who uses both energies to bridge your understanding.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that the Holy Spirit does not trick us with thoughts or emotions like some people.

Our relationship remains like a marriage. You experience crisis and continuity because you initially formed a connection with Me. But the process of growing keeps going on and on. You are to give a part of yourself away each day. The kingdom of heaven thrives upon continual growth. You will not even stop learning and developing when you die because a certain maturity continues throughout eternity.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the idea we keep discovering new things even after our bodies move through death to another realm.

When Fear knocks on your door just say, “There’s nobody home. Only someone named faith lives here.” Surrender all your hindrances and barriers between us. They only cause you to stay upset and you become too centered with earthly worry. Anxious moments just breed more anxious moments. The Holy Spirit wants to continue setting you free. Give away those subtle snares that trap you.

Prayer: Lord, help me be careful to give away my wasteful snares.

Faith becomes active when you graciously accept that to which you already believe. Quit trying and trust. The Prodigal son’s older brother let anger get in his way of forgiveness. Anger portrays nothing but hostile fear. Fear stands opposite of faith. Make conscious effort to trade your anger for peace which genuine faith produces. Then, practice adding to your faith resolution, resolving you will endure, maintain self control, and promote the Father’s kindness with all humanity.

Prayer: Lord, with conflict and strife, help us avoid planning our lives from fear motivation. We want to trade love for fear.

When I said, “I am the Way” I referred to the fact I am the first designer. See Me in the glow of a fire. See Me in the stirring branches of the wind. See Me in the richness of the soil. See Me in the sparkle of water. I am not within these things. These things reflect I am the Creator and first cause of these. I am the first beauty of all things.

What you call Nature bursts forth as one of the harmonious expressions of God the Father couched in human time. If you will read the colors, the sounds, the overall structure of nature, you can be helped to understand a creative Father.

I never conducted a funeral. Death is the usurper and the opposite of life. I only give opportunity for life. Memorial services speak to a person’s past. I call upon you for a dedication of living service, a steady commitment for the present and future. There is nothing wrong with past accomplishments. Just do not dwell on them. Look to the opportunities I bring you now. Any seed planted will have potential future growth and may be someone’s prayer answered.

Prayer: Our Father, thank you for the abundant opportunities of life you have given us so freely.

The Father can dispense goodness to anyone. He sustains compassion on all He has made. His love-kingdom vibrates as an everlasting kingdom and will last throughout the generations. Nothing stops His love energy.

I give you parable. Picture yourself standing, at night, in a new house without a roof. You could still look up and see the stars. No matter how dark your circumstances around you become, look up. I am still here.

When you first met Me, you were bursting with the wonder of first impressions. Nothing seemed impossible. Then, came a longer time of learning and experiences that punched away at your faith, but those times helped to strengthen you. You entered a place of questions whether your joy would ever return again. With more and more of your journey in and out from Me, you wonder if you’ve lost your sense of wonder. It will come more strongly today. Watch for the experience.

I have said that the Father’s love has length, breadth, height, and depth. To this you are connected. His length remains His everlasting, non ending being. His breadth shows His love as extending to all people what He wills for Himself and others. His height displays His power so you can pray with all the energy of your spirit. His depth stands for wisdom of all the Spirit knows and dwells within those who have ears to hear.

Your heavenly Father does not just do love. He IS love! He cannot function without love motivation. Everything that happens to you remains fused with His love because you are in Me and I am in you. You may not always understand the consequences. On the surface or the immediate moment may seem harsh or unloving, but that’s because you cannot see the whole picture of all the connections in the universe. Let love work through every experience. I have loved you more than any person or object that receives your highest passion.

Prayer: I don’t always understand, but thank you for the love.

You must practice shutting out your taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing to fully contact Me. Your body will make noises and fight you on this. Go to a quiet place; close your eyes; shut out all the noise you can and throw your thoughts out beyond this world. Let your spirit soar away from physical connections. This, then, will become your highest form of prayer. A large hole will open among the blackness when you tear through the great rift between heaven and earth. Move in spirit through the hole and linger in My presence.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for continually teaching me ways to form better connection with you.

Any work you want to be permanent must be done through the Holy Spirit, bathed in the Father’s essence. All other efforts remain as temporary results. Search scripture and prayer for what the Spirit wants you to do. Don’t just think of something and ask the Spirit to bless it. And keep in mind: Anytime a human shows weakness, God the Father has opportunity to become strong. The Kingdom of God remains a realm of service for all.

Prayer: Lord, help me not rush ahead of the Spirit’s call.

When I said for you to be perfect even as My Father in heaven is perfect, notice the verses before which dealt with love. So strive for perfection in your love: love your enemies, love those that misuse you, those that misunderstand you. Love Me. Through Me your love may be perfect even if your experiences and expressions of that love are not yet perfect. Remember, the Christ-like character you grow is on-going, not just a state of being. You continue a magnificent work in progress.

Prayer: Father, thank you for your astonishing love you share with us.

Nothing remains insignificant because I can connect all things. Remember, you live in this world and My kingdom at the same time. You need to flavor everyday events with kingdom joy. When you greet someone give them a kingdom smile. When you see someone on the street, shoot them a kingdom prayer. No occasion, no contact stays too small to enhance the kingdom principles. Even though you do not see anything on the surface, trust that I am working underneath. Blessed are you when you hunger and thirst for the kingdom in every word and deed. My kingdom is a kingdom of service, not self power.

Prayer: Lord, keep reminding me every moment, I am to serve gladly any who might cross my path.

Poor in spirit means to renounce yourself being totally in control. It does not mean to dishonor the self. I do not want to rule over a ruined self but a surrendered one. What happens when you renounce your self? You are left with an emptiness to be filled. The Holy Spirit can now make you aware of your God need, God dependence, and God origin. You can accept the Father’s grace and lean fully on him. Without the emptying of the self, you would still be filled with all the worldly clutter. That clutter pushes out the Holy Spirit, silencing his inner message. In modern terms, crucify your false self so your true self can be resurrected.

Prayer: Lord, I do pray you would help me be more other-centered.

My wisdom gives you better discernment and can help you make the right decisions to live the full life the Father intended. Ask to be wise and through this grows respect for who I am and your quality of trust will blossom. Your trust element sustains your shield against the evil doers. It will keep you out of unnecessary trouble. Ask in every detail and your soul will be enriched.

One reason you need a close walk with Me everyday because for now, sin is permanently associated with the substance of your being. You can get better by not letting it control you, and you control it by calling on My name.

When you deliberately hide a negative and push it down, the subconscious captures it and places it in the depths of your soul. Honesty becomes more difficult because those buried issues stay glossed over and hidden from the light. Ask My Spirit to reveal all and partner with your spirit for conscious healing and to start over.

Blessed are the poor in spirit partly means to abolish too much self-indulgence. Life remains hard to be poor in spirit when too rich in the physical. Give some away today to balance the physical and spiritual.

In the beginning of your journey, your faith was often too simple in that you became superstitious. The Father still honors any childlike faith, but it may be based on the fear of the unknown, so you trust too much to something like magic. The problem with magic or sorcery is that at the core, it has a false idea of causation. It centers on the thrill and enchantment for salvation and results in misdirected thinking and attitude toward the Father. The time has come to move that part of your superstitious self to the full acceptance of pure Grace. If you get ready for any miracles, so be it. But if not, you need to pay close attention to the small, unusual sights and sounds I send.

Prayer: Lord, I do not want to trust in magic, but help me accept the abiding mysteries of some of your word.

Since the Father revealed Me as a person to the world and to you, then the true path to him flows through your personal experience. By asking, you can know me personally, not trying to find Me through an intellectual exercise. My ownership of you, My partnership with you, and our special relationship are the roads you travel to truly understand who I am. Your experience matters and needs renewing often. Ask.

Prayer: Holy Father, I do pray you would soak every experience with your life-saving knowledge.

With emotional commitment comes trust. Trust continues to dwell in the realm of emotional feelings. Most reason gets abandoned when trust must feel in order for issues like hope to possess a reality. Trust moves promise into actual present fulfillment. Trust in Me. Hope in Me. Then, live in Me. Trust in your future, but give full participation for what still happens now.

Prayer: Lord, I have to admit: One of the hardest emotions to maintain faithful action stays with the issue of trust. Keep teaching me how.

Continually, unseen forces pass through you, like ultra violet rays. The Father may not need your body to connect with your mind, but He does want your senses to connect with Him. If you were to loose your consciousness, but maintain something like compassion, the Spirit could still interpret without your help. The Holy Spirit hears your unintelligent mutterings. There are more things passing through you that you do not register than you realize. My Spirit helps you go beyond your limitations. Since it is true that you are more than you think, feel, believe, and behave in Me, then you are valued much more than you think you are.

Prayer: Holy Father, thank you for seeing any worth in me and those around me.

It is one thing if you believe the heavenly father created everything and just turned it loose to progress as it would. In some ways he did with free will. But it is a higher belief to know the father remains involved with his creation. The truth stays firm that one purpose of creation resulted in a redemptive rest. Whatever else the father does through creation, he wants to put things back in balance for peace and harmony. He established a balance through the redeeming significance of his son in earthly matters and initiated humanity's potential with the Holy Spirit through struggles on earth.

Prayer: Lord, help me to do my part for the harmony of this world.

Your appetite follows from your essence, who you really are. If you are a thief at heart, you'll have an insatiable need to steal. So then, Sin clings to the essence of you and sins become the appetites. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to change your nature and thus change appetite. I did not take away your appetites, but I am changing them to move toward the Father. The greatest appetite of all vibrates Love.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, there really is a part of me that hungers for your right doing.

At My baptism, when the voice from heaven proclaimed I was the Father's Beloved and the Holy Spirit came like the wings of a bird, all happened so other scriptures were fulfilled. If you hold an idea long enough in your mind, you will act upon it. Part of your imagination is made in the image of the Father. I have instantaneous creative ability. You have to chew on something for awhile and then you’ll bring it to pass, whether good or evil. Be careful what you dwell on with your mind.

Prayer: Lord, keep me focusing my mind on your kingdom guidelines.

One of your most threatening fears lingers as the fear of losing your identity, the fear of not belonging, the fear of someone taking your place, and the fear of no place. You will have this fear enlarged if you tie to earthly endeavors to define who you are. In Me and My kingdom you are already SOMEBODY. You have eternal place and identity because I’ve loved you into the kingdom of the Father. You need not be anxious about fear because it melts away with the Father’s love. I and the Father are One.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, turn all my fears into faith.
