Faith becomes
active when you graciously accept that to which you already believe. Quit
trying and trust. The Prodigal son’s older brother let anger get in his way of
forgiveness. Anger portrays nothing but hostile fear. Fear stands opposite of faith.
Make conscious effort to trade your anger for peace which genuine faith
produces. Then, practice adding to your faith resolution, resolving you will
endure, maintain self control, and promote the Father’s kindness with all
humanity.
Prayer: Lord,
with conflict and strife, help us avoid planning our lives from fear
motivation. We want to trade love for fear.
