Thirst
When little souls cry out on beds of sickness;
When a man finds no rest and daily existence seems more
than he can stand;
When a woman feels her crushing responsibilities of work
and family;
When a young person stays bewildered by culture;
Jesus cries, “I thirst.”
[John 19:28]
We need to relieve suffering where we can.
