Flavor
and Insight
“You are the salt of the earth . . .”
“You are the light of the world.” [Mt.5:13-14, NKJV].
Jesus said the believer becomes salt, a hidden flavoring
ingredient that changes any stale taste.
But then He moves to the open, obvious element of light,
that penetrating quality of insight and hope because others can begin to see.
In Christ, we have hidden truths that lead to open light
for a dying world.
