Five Senses
Did Adam and Eve have 5 senses before
they sinned in the garden?
“And
the Lord God commanded the man, saying , ‘Of every tree of the garden you may
freely eat; but of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat’
. . .” [Gen.2:16-17, NKJV].
In a sense, yes, because I’m not sure
you can eat without tasting.
So it seems to me, originally, God gave
us the senses as a blessing. But when Adam and Eve sinned, the senses then
became a potential avenue for trouble as they became more sensitive to the
negative side of life.
