Risk Dec.31

Jesus said:

"When you read in scripture the stories of the Prodigal son, Mary and Martha,  workers with different talents, and even the occasion I told Peter not to worry about John’s business of growth, there remains a strong hint at the underlying factor motivating the kingdom. Does inequality in people’s character mean more in the kingdom principles? Not really. But the underlying principle for what seems inequality is the risk factor. The Father took the risk for loss for Me, his Son. The Father withstood the loss. I, the Son, withstood the loss. The Divine risks all for salvation. Risk may become the motivator for a kingdom principle. Risk means lose yourself and behave what seems to be impossible. Try to be God-risk motivated. The Father’s risks are never tricks. They are faith-based actions."

Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize the correct risks for the sake of the Kingdom.

Focus Dec.30

And Jesus reminded:

"When I tell My disciples to follow me, I do not mean just to follow certain rules or laws. I mean to relate to Me, form an intimate connection. Then you can filter all your personal involvements through our relationship. My love remains the foundation of our connected state. Work all your involvements with love as motivation. Keep My love perspective. You may not feel love, but just be love."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for loving us when we do not know what we need.

Be Glad Dec.29

Holy Spirit said:

"In your usual routine, go out of your way today to help just one other person. Give away some part of yourself: a kindness, a smile, a joyful word, an encouraging idea, or an act of mercy. Do this knowing I go with each effort. Think how I have forgiven you. Each act can be a new seed for growth. When you plant a seed or show fruit for Me, you become a part of My permanent kingdom happenings."

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the newness of opportunity every day.

Maintain a moment Dec.28

And Jesus said:

"Any day that you can clarify a spiritual truth, means the day was not wasted. I do not expect you to keep carrying the full load of life. I will carry the load. You just handle the small moments of a day, and then give the entire load to Me. I accept the whole burden and make your burden light. Trust I am always seeking you."

Prayer: Lord, I am so grateful you share our burdens, even when we do not recognize the truth of what is really happening.

Be a channel Dec.22 and Learning Dec.23

 The Holy Spirit reminded:

Dec.22 "Today, channel your resources to others in active ways: listen to the unlovely, speak to the timid, give funds where needed, give your time and talent in ways that others might receive the credit. Then, your light will shine brighter as you have prayed."

Prayer: Lord, help us recognize all opportunities today and behave like your children.

Dec 23 "Often, life exists as a school and not just time to spend any way you want. School means you look for and expect homework and perform your lessons as best you can. I remain your teacher. Pay attention and I will show you the way. Today’s lesson: Simplify your life. Get rid of the clutter."

Prayer: Lord, keep me alert to your everyday lessons and help me spend my resources on those things pleasing to you.

The Law Dec.21

And Jesus said:

"Scripture states, I was born of a woman under the law." [Galatians 4:4]. This includes all that is truly lawful. While you live laws like the four seasons, gravity, or life and death, the universe revolves around a Moral set of laws. These value laws, like compassion and caring, are centered in Jehovah’s love to teach you moral intelligence. You are to learn to live alongside these laws. If you go against them, you will be wounded and finally crushed. The law of My love supersedes all other laws but does not eradicate them. Your task is to learn harmony with the laws."

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your forgiving law of love and showing us how to love.

Before Time Dec.19

 Jesus told an insight:

"No one lived before Me. I am the Way and the Way stays all around you. When you see a child laugh, you behold the Way. When you discover a brilliant flower, you see the Way. When you see someone offer mercy; you behold the Way. All creation gives hint of the Way. I, your Savior, am the Way. I did not come to create the Kingdom. My Kingdom was already here. I came to provide a doorway through the Way to the Kingdom of the Father."

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for helping us discover the true path to your kingdom existence.

Love Measure Dec.18

Holy Spirit reminded:

"Self-centered love gives to someone or something in order to receive back a greater portion. True love maintains a yearning to give only goodness to the object loved whether getting a return or not. To always expect a return tarnishes love. However, love given properly becomes its own reward. The Father will show you true love."

Prayer: Lord, teach me to love with more other-centered motives.

One Way to Pray Dec.17

And the Holy Spirit said:

"Continue to pray to overcome the weak points in your life that cause you jealousy, envy, or strife. You do not need to spend so much time praying to overcome negative people or situations. Give them to Me. Trust Me to handle them. I am still in control. Just look to yourself and make sure the negative people don’t cause your weak points to emerge. Stay walking in the kingdom principles of love, trust, and obey."

Prayer: Lord, help me today, to appreciate those who seem to prosper, whether I do or not.

One True Test Dec.16

Jesus said:

"You are always wondering which voice speaks to you. You say, 'Is this or that of God? How do I know for sure?' There remains a constant test to know if I am asking something of you instead of the negative forces. Ask yourself: Will what I’m about to say or do glorify the Father? If the answer is 'no' or 'I don’t know' wait until you can answer YES. I help you combine spiritual thoughts and words with the material to arrive as a partner with the Holy Spirit. If your activity or one you’re about to do doesn’t honor the Father, you may not need to give it up, but rather, turn it into God’s glory. If that can’t be done, then give it up. Your main goal is to move everything you think and do into glorifying the Father."

Prayer: Lord, show me how to test the spirits by depending on your Spirit.

Best Learning Dec.15

And Jesus said:

"When the Roman soldiers came to take Me out of the garden and away from My disciples, I did not say to My followers, “Ok, now let Me teach you a principle from the Sermon on the Mount.” I may not try to teach you the best when you are going through turmoil or struggles. You may gain insight, but My best teaching and your best learning occurs when you are relaxed. Find that resting attitude, rest in your secret place, and learn more of Me. Take time to absorb our conversations, especially after strong conflicts."

Prayer: Lord, help me through the day maintain my devotional thinking with you.

Surrender Doubt Dec.14

And the Holy Spirit Reminded:

"This becomes the time of year to surrender all that does not line up with the law of love I have given you. Expel doubt from your thinking. Love all your neighbors. Expressions of love can be different. You do not have to love their actions. Love their potential in Me. In Mt. 5:48 I said, “be therefore perfect.” I was referring to perfect in my love, not just your love expressions. Your love expressions may succeed or fail. Allow your faith in Me to rise and question any limitation that tries to move you away from the Kingdom path."

Prayer: Lord, remove doubt and help me today to love those that are hard to love.

Success Dec.13

Holy Spirit reminded:

"Make sure the enterprise you step into comes by faith through Me and I will send the appropriate resources you need. Success remains measured by My viewing how you connect by enriching the Kingdom and its people. How do you measure the enterprise? Ask: Could you perform the task without My help? Does the endeavor honor the Father by applying his true love? Are you led by the Holy Spirit? If you can answer these properly, resources will flow to you like living water. Money follows ministry, not ministry follows money."

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that you measure success in a different manner than the world.

Wholeness Dec.12

Jesus reminded:

"Just as I fed the hungry and mingled with the world’s problems, you must find your place to do likewise. My feeding/mingling was My spiritual essence at work. You must not totally separate circumstances from the spiritual. Make as many things complete in Me as possible. Growing in holiness will help you serve the material with right doing so you grow to become whole. I am reclaiming My creation. All My creation needs My stamp upon it. You are the ink, the salt, and the light.

Prayer: Lord, while I do not fully understand all the conflicts, I do want to walk your path of continued wholeness.

Stuck Dec.11

 The Holy Spirit advised:

"Just because something was done a certain way in the past does not mean it must duplicate itself the very same way in the present. Don’t let your worship of Jehovah become such a habit that you overlook what may happen now in the modern world. Technology continues to change many things. I may not change My love, but circumstances continue to change. Technology can serve the Kingdom. Move with the flow but keep Me at your center."

Prayer: Lord, I don’t want to misread any world changes or be stagnated in any attempts at worship.

Love Test Dec.10

The Holy Spirit said:

"I know you can love individuals, especially if each strikes your interest. But you do not experience My full love until you can love the uninteresting, unlovely multitudes that are blind, unfeeling, and lost. You do not have to love their behavior. Expand your compassion by opening yourself to the larger world around you. You do not always have to appear to be right. Practice kindness and with love, absorb people’s misdirection. You do not have to consent to bad behavior."

Prayer: Lord help me pay attention to uncaring persons who seem unlovely in action.

The Grand Purpose Dec.7

The Holy Spirit gave thought:

"Look around you. Your surroundings, your circumstances, Nature and the whole universe maintain intention and value. Certain values remain constant and important, like gravity. What kind of universe would let all your trials and struggles mean nothing at your end? Can death just wipe all away? For some, it might seem so. But death cannot exhaust My love. I will not let your life become a mockery. You have immortality in Christ. You will live on and grow. Take comfort in your present purpose. Know My intention will never be in vain because it continues. I am your valid eternal purpose."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me that through your Son’s love, you gave us worth and purpose.

No Guidance Dec.6

The Holy Spirit said:

"If you feel 98% no guidance from Me and only 2% direction, follow the 2% because that remains better for you than operating on the larger amount without Me. If you feel NO guidance, then listen to the silence. Often, I am leading in what seems the non-guidance. Faith and trust become the goals of intention of the mind and heart."

Prayer: Lord, help me to act on the smallest amount of belief in you and the kingdom.

Clear Truth Dec.5

The Holy Spirit said:

"The whole universe stands behind truth. You do not have to justify, make confusing rules, or complicate truth. You would have to complicate lying to cover any sham. But truth stands alone and verifies itself. Let your 'yes' become 'yes' and your 'no' become 'no'.”

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for reminding me that all truth comes from your essence.

Continue Your Resolve Dec.3

And Jesus said:

"By contacting and talking to Me daily, you build up a kind of reserve. When crisis comes you can respond automatically with My love because you have accumulated this storehouse of habit. Your nature changes more into My nature and genuine love can reign."

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for the Holy Spirit who rises up within us to show your genuine love.

Extravagance Dec.2

The Holy Spirit reminded:

"You must understand I do not condemn extravagance as long as it is extravagant love for Me, extravagant joy, giving, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and mercy. If you must err, then err on the side of extravagant generosity."

Prayer: Lord, help me to understand if I take from life at some point, I need to put back.
