And the Spirit whispered:
"Because at times you may be tempted to quit because of what you left behind, keep moving forward, don’t look back. Press on toward your goals in Me. Keep trusting, you are guaranteed the prize."
Prayer: Oh, Holy Spirit, increase my strength to keep moving forward on your kingdom track.
A Consideration Oct.27
In the kingdom of heavenly Father, if not careful, an over abundant
prosperity can hinder your servant challenge, your humble beginnings. Blessed
are the poor in spirit partly means to abolish too much self-indulgence. Life
remains hard to be poor in spirit when too rich in the physical. Give some away
today to balance the physical and spiritual.
Prayer: Lord, help me be aware of who and what to
give away today.
Doubt’s Opposite Oct.28
Allow your faith, hope, and trust in Me arise and attack any doubt of
any specific limitation. Again, this is the time of year to surrender all that
does not check out with the hope of love I’ve given you. So, love your neighbor
as I have loved you.
Prayer: Lord I pray for a mature love, one that
thinks more of others.
And the Spirit said:
"In the beginning of your journey, your faith was often simple in that
you favored a kind of superstition. Heavenly Father still honors any childlike
faith, but it may be based on the fear of the unknown, so you may tend to trust
too much to something like magic. The problem with magic or sorcery is that at
the core, it has a false idea of causation. It centers on the thrill and
enchantment for salvation and results in misdirected thinking and attitude
toward the heavenly Father. The time has come to move that part of your
superstitious self to the full acceptance of pure Grace and Faith. Miracles may happen or not but pay close
attention to the small, unusual sights and sounds I send."
Prayer: Lord, I
do not want to trust in magical thinking, so help me accept the abiding
mysteries in any of your word.
And Jesus said:
"Since heavenly Father revealed Me as a person to the world and to you, the true path to Him flows through your personal experience. By asking and
listening, you can know me personally, not examining ideas through any
intellectual exercise. The Holy Spirit readily interprets. My partnership with
you as a special relationship with Me are the roads you travel to understand
who I am. Your experiences matter and need renewing often. Take a moment and ask what’s next."
Prayer: Holy
Father, I do pray you would cover all my experiences with your life-saving
Spirit and knowledge.
The Spirit said:
"With emotional commitment comes trust. Trust implies mostly feeling. So,
trust couches itself in the realm of emotions. Most reason gets abandoned when
trust must feel for issues, like hope, to form a reality. Trust moves promise
into actual present fulfillment. Trust in Me. Hope in Me. Then, live in Me.
Trust in your future, but give full participation for what still happens now.
Trust your faith. Faith your trust."
Prayer: Lord, I
admit: One of the hardest emotions to maintain faithful action remains with the
trust issue. Keep teaching me how.
Jesus reminded:
"I am the Architect. You are the builder. Do not reverse these. Build
your life through Me. Search and find My plan."
Prayer: Lord, I do want you to help me find the right
life plans and be able to read them correctly.
And the Spirit said:
"The amazing truth still exists: God, the Father, in all His wisdom and
knowledge - - -loves you. As the Father created Me, Jesus, you can recreate
yourself with me every day. The decisions you make may be eternity's treasures.
Even the angels rejoice at good choices."
Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving us every
opportunity to start new.
And the Spirit said:
"Continually, unseen forces pass through you, like ultra-violet rays. Heavenly
Father may not need your body to connect with your mind, but He does want your
senses to connect with Him. If you were to lose your consciousness, but
maintain something like compassion, the Spirit could still interpret without
your help. The Holy Spirit hears your unintelligent mutterings. There are more
things passing through you that you do not register than you realize. My Spirit
helps you go beyond your limitations. Since it is true that you are more than
you think, feel, believe, and behave in Me, then you are valued much more than
you think you are."
Prayer: Holy Father, thank you for seeing worth in
us through your Son.
And Jesus said:
"It is one thing if you believe the heavenly Father created everything
and just turned it loose to progress as it would. In some ways He did with free
will. But it is a higher belief to know the Father remains involved with His
creation. The truth is one purpose of creation resulted in a redemptive rest.
Whatever else the Father does through creation, He wants to put things back in
balance for peace and harmony. He established a balance through the redeeming
significance of His Son and initiated humanity's potential to obtain the Holy
Spirit. He brings harmony to your spirit."
Prayer: Lord,
help me seek harmonious decisions in every aspect of this world.
Spirit reminded:
"Your appetite follows from your essence, who you really are. Sin flaw is
your nature and clings to the essence of you and sins are the results that come
from appetites. If you are a thief at heart, you'll have an insatiable need to
steal something. It takes the power of the Holy Spirit to change your nature
and thus change appetite. I do not take away appetite abilities, but I am changing
them to move toward heavenly Father. Your lust can change to My Love."
Prayer: Thank
you, Lord, for helping me hunger for the right things.
The Spirit reminds you:
"At My baptism, when the voice from heaven proclaimed I was the
Father's Beloved and the Holy Spirit came like the wings of a bird, all
happened so other scriptures were fulfilled. But also, the event was a picture
of what happens to you when you trust Me. Your perspective changes to other
centered desires because you embrace the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit publicly.
You have received the Spirit and become My special child. There exists nothing
more precious, not worlds or universes. Remember who you are everyday: A
growing Beloved."
Prayer: Thank you Lord for your gracious acceptance
of me.

Fear Dissolved Oct.15
One of your most threatening fears lingers as the fear of losing your
identity, the fear of not belonging, the fear of someone taking your place, and
the fear of having no place. You will have this fear enlarged if you tie to
earthly endeavors to define who you are. In Me and My kingdom, you are already
SOMEBODY. You have eternal place and identity because I’ve loved you into the
kingdom of heavenly Father. You need not be anxious about fear because it melts
away with my love. I and the Father are One. The right faith conquers fear.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, turn all my fears into
faith.
Think and Do Oct.16
If you hold an idea long enough in your mind, you will act upon it.
Part of your imagination is made in the image of the heavenly Father. I have
instantaneous creative ability. You have creative ability based on your literal
time elements. Although, you must think about something for a while and then
you’ll bring it to pass, whether good or evil. Be careful what you dwell on
with your mind. It can turn to action.
Prayer: Lord,
keep me focused on your kingdom guidelines and specific words of your
scriptures.
And the Spirit said:
"I have said I would not allow you to be tempted beyond your endurance,
but with it, will come a way of escape. However, sometimes you may not see an
immediate way out, but I am there just the same. The working out of any problem
becomes much like healing. At times, healing comes instantaneously. Others must
go through a process which may mean doctor involvement or other systems of
health. Just as the angel could not come to help in war because he was busy in
another place, I use your earthly time for the Holy Spirit to arrive at the
proper connections. Trust, even when you feel abandoned."
Prayer: Lord,
help me trust your connections, even when I cannot see your overall picture.
Spirit reminded:
"I am not some hesitant Savior, meaning you must
beg over and over for my attention. In fact, every day I plan what may seem a
new surprise, a new gift for you which contains My joy. Pay close attention. My ways are not the
world’s ways. Often, through unusual thinking or action, I send you a blessing.
It can appear as a financial message, even some hardship, a health issue, or a
family event. Potentially, any activity may become My channel because I love to
give. Pray to discern the differences."
Prayer: Lord,
help me remember you injected your love in every cell of my mind, body, and
spirit; every neuron fired in my brain is bathed in your love.
And the Spirit said:
"Never overlook the constant connection of your inner being and your
outward behavior. Even though you live in this world but are not truly of it,
you are to build bridges between spiritual devotion and physical outcomes. Think
of the difference between the example of Mary and Martha in Luke’s gospel, but
remember they were still sisters. True fellowship remains the goal despite the
differences in personalities and circumstances."
Prayer: Lord, with connections, help me know where
and when I fit.
And the Spirit said:
"I want you to try something for one day. You may or may not see
results. Every time you meet someone, in the quiet of your mind, I want you to
send a prayer at the person. Do this with every person you meet like a store
clerk, family member, worker, anyone. Send a prayer to them, like “Lord,
help that person” or “give her strength”, or ‘in Jesus’ name
peace”. Just say whatever you feel impressed to say. Do it a whole day and
then, you might want to extend it longer. With this, you are practicing My
presence."
And the Spirit informed:
"On many corners of your world, you can see institutions that promise
to offer relief. Will you be set free from the struggles and troubles? Do you
desire the condition of the non-believers who seem to have no problems? Does
not everyone get hungry, get thirsty, get pounded with all kinds of weather? Is
your constant goal to avoid suffering? The Psalmist in 121 points you to a
magnificent truth: Believers and non-believers can have the same difficulties,
but the heavenly Father will keep you from evil. Events that happen to you are
neither good nor bad but have the potential seed for either one. I may allow you
a hard, difficult, uncomfortable event, but My Spirit keeps you from doing
evil. However, it remains no accident in My model prayer that I have you pray '.
. deliver us from evil.'”
Prayer: Lord, I do ask you deliver us from evil
thoughts and ways.
Holy Spirit said:
"Living your life intermingles like a mosaic. I am just as interested and concerned
about the everyday little pieces of life as they fit together. Nothing stays
too small or mundane but what it may be important to the overall kingdom plan. At
the end, you may recall, piece by piece, the full mosaic to heavenly Father that mattered. Do all in My name."
Prayer: Oh Lord, help me pay attention to all the little facets of life.
Spirit reminds you:
"Surrender your divided self into My hands and make certain that what
you accept can sustain you with kingdom principles. Any appeal to your energy
needs to call out your best potential. If some issue only brings out the worst
in you, it is not of Me. The Father’s Will promotes the best in you."
So I show you:
"While you live in this world, what becomes the most important result
of knowing Me, the Savior? Is it heaven? Is it peace? Is it abundance? Is it
virtue? Is it hope? Is it you will have your own kingdom? All are true and trusting
on one thing becomes difficult, but if you follow Proverbs 2 and gain its
treasure, I will show you a significant guide: Wisdom. Clearly there are two kinds of wisdom. One leads to selfish
ambition and stays earth bound, not of the heavenly Father. The other comes
from heaven and upholds Me, while it nurtures by the fruit of the Spirit. How
is the correct wisdom attained? Proverbs says start by accepting the entire
word of heavenly Father. In that acceptance comes good sense and better insight
into life, relationships, and humanity."
Prayer: Lord, grant me the wisdom to choose the
right wisdom for you.
And the Spirit said:
"Do not hesitate. Make your decisions based upon kingdom principles, avoid
predicting the results. Indecision feeds fear not faith. Don’t ask: “How will
this affect me?” Rather, ask: “What is the right action? What will feed kingdom
growth? How will this help someone else? The right quick decision can also keep
you out of the dilemma of doubt."
Prayer: Lord,
help me not to waver when it comes to behaving with your kingdom guidelines.
And Jesus reminded:
"The Bible exists not just as a book of theories and themes. It remains
a book of factual truth. It has been said that things are not true because they
are in the Bible, but they are in the Bible because they are true. You are not
only to love scripture for its own sake but because the words bring you into My
presence and I am all truth. The magnificence of My love isn’t just found in a
love object, but in the act of loving. Scripture becomes your food to help you
stay longer in My presence. My existence is the energy of life. Think of the colorful
flower that comes from a tiny seed because the life force germinates growth.
You are the seed, scripture the enduring growth source. As your Savior, I am
the enlarging power to produce maturity. A full-blown blossom stays a love
expression from heavenly Father. A full-blown Christian is a love expression of
the Son’s beauty."
Prayer: Thank you, Lord. Just thank you.
And Jesus whispered:
"The sole difference in My being able to work certain powers in your
life has to do with recognition. Maintain conscious effort every day in
remembering that I, the Christ, can be honored by the little things as well as
the large. Your perception, attitude, and ability to rest in Me make all the difference.
Pay attention to where My Spirit keeps working. There I will be."
Prayer: Lord, open my spiritual eyes to see you with me always.
And the Spirit said:
"If you will fully believe that all things really are held together by
Me and that I can be the source and sum of all you do, then every practical
behavior and action can be praise to heavenly Father. Your breathing, working
anywhere, an act of eating, your centered self, every cell is yours joined by Me.
So, when you experience any of these, they can serve as conscious acts of
praise and honor to Me and kingdom growth."
Prayer: Lord, let everything I do glorify your name
in some way.
