Risk Dec.31

 

And Jesus said:

"When you read in scripture the stories of the Prodigal son, Mary and Martha, the workers of different talents, or the occasion I told Peter not to worry about John’s business of growth, there remains a strong hint at the underlying factor motivating the kingdom and supernatural forces. Does inequality of personality mean more in the kingdom journey? Not really. But the underlying principle for what seems inequality is the risk/possibility factor. The heavenly Father took the risk of loss for Me, his Son. The Father withstood the loss. I, the Son, withstood the loss. The supernatural order risks all for salvation. Risk means possibility and becomes the motivator for the kingdom principles. Risk means lose yourself in Me and behave what seems to be impossible. Try to be God-risk motivated. The Father’s possibilities are never tricks, but faith-based appeals."

Prayer: Lord, help me to recognize the correct risks for the sake of the Kingdom.

Word Power Dec.30

 

The Spirit whispered:

"Even lights from burned out stars travel throughout the galaxies without stopping. What if words were so powerful that every word you spoke lasted forever, throughout eternity? Think long and hard about this and what you speak."

Prayer: Lord, help me be slow to argue my point and direct my words only as they should be. Help my listening be more powerful.

Be Glad Dec.29

 

Spirit said remember:

"In your usual routine, go out of your way today to help just one other person. Give away some part of yourself: a kindness, a smile, a joyful word, an encouraging idea, an act of mercy, any other-centered act. Do this knowing I go with each effort. Think how I have forgiven you. Each act can start new seed growth. When you plant a seed or show fruit for Me, you express a part of My permanent kingdom happenings."

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the newness of opportunity every day.

Keep a moment Dec. 28

 

And the Spirit said:

"Any day that you can clarify a spiritual truth, means the day was not wasted. I do not expect you to keep carrying the complicated, full load of life. I will carry the load. You just handle the small moments of a day, and then give the entire load to Me. My accepting your burdens makes your burden lighter."

Prayer: Lord, I am so grateful you share our burdens, even when we do not recognize what is really happening.

Focus Dec.27

 

And Jesus clarified:

"When I told My disciples to follow me, I did not mean just to follow certain rules or laws. I meant to pay attention and relate to Me, form a personal connection. You can screen all your personal involvements through our relationship. My love remains the foundation of our connection. Work all your involvements with love as motivation by keeping My love definition. Although you do not feel love sometimes, just BE other-centered love."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for loving us and teaching us love when we do not even know what we need.

Reassurance Day Dec.25

 

The Spirit reminded:

"On this special day, your life may seem off track just because you do not “feel” Me. Other signs, internal or external, may show you remain My follower. For instance, you may use intelligence or some unselfish act to display an expression as my disciple. Any act of mercy can demonstrate my kingdom. Some small move toward kindness expresses My love. Persist in the belief I am with you, no matter what you’re feeling now. Faith comes by trust not just some feeling. Whatever happens around you in circumstance, even if a bad feeling, trust Me."

Prayer: Thank you for reminding us you were born on a special earth day and that fact remains remarkable.

Learning Dec.23

 

And the Spirit said:

"Often, life exists as a school and not just time to spend any way you want. School means you look for and expect homework and perform your lessons as best you can. I remain your teacher. Pay attention and I will show you the way. Today’s lesson: It is a time for giving. Plan to simplify life and get rid of so much stuff."  

Prayer: Lord, keep me alert to your everyday lessons and help me give my resource to those things pleasing to you.

Be a channel Dec. 22

 

And the Spirit said:

"Today, give as many of your resources to others in active ways: listen to the unlovely, speak to the timid, give funds where needed, feel the flavor of another’s hurt, give time and talent in ways that others might get the credit. Then, your light for Me will shine brighter as you have prayed."

Prayer: Lord, help us recognize all opportunities today and behave like your children.

The Law Dec.21

 

And Jesus reminded:

"As the scripture states, I was born of a woman under the law [Gal.4:4]. This includes all law. The universe revolves around a moral and accurate set of values that are laws, like seasons of cold and hot, up and down, or life and death. You are to learn to live alongside these laws. If you ignore them, you will be wounded and finally crushed. My love does supersede all other laws but does not eradicate them. Your task is to learn harmony through my love and with the laws.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your forgiving law of love and showing us how to love and how to live your laws.

My Will Dec.20

 

The Spirit said:

    "If you begin your day with doing things, then ask me to bless them, you will find this proves backwards. Start each day with asking my direction first, then proceed. Then move to the inner circle of My love with the small interests by letting Me be first in every decision. I will expand what you need later. I don’t want you to be one thing or just do one thing, I want you to experience a sense of belonging for all times."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for letting us turn all our decisions to you first before action.

Before Time Dec.19

 

And God said:

"To you, nothing existed before I made existence. I am the Way, and the Way stays all around you. When you see a child laugh, you behold the Way. When you discover a brilliant flower, you see the Way. When you see someone offer mercy; you behold the Way. All creation gives hint of the Way. I, your Savior, am the Way. I did not come to create the Kingdom. My Kingdom was already here. I, Jesus, came to provide a doorway through the Way to a re-united Kingdom of the heavenly Father."

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for helping us discover the true path to your kingdom existence.

Love Measure Dec.18

 

The Spirit said:

"Self-centered love gives to someone or something so as to receive back as much or a greater portion. True love maintains a yearning to give only goodness to the object loved whether getting a return or not. To always expect a return lowers a love quality. However, proper love given becomes its own reward. Heavenly Father will walk with you through the experiences and show you true love."

Prayer: Lord, teach me to love with more other-centered motives.

A Way to Pray Dec.17

 

And the Spirit said:

"Continue to pray to overcome the weak points in your life that cause you wrong thought, envy, or conflict. But you do not need to spend so much time praying to overcome negative people or situations. Give them to Me. Trust Me to handle them. I am still in control. Just look to yourself and make sure the negative people don’t cause your weak points to emerge. Stay walking in the kingdom principles."

Prayer: Lord, help me today, to appreciate those who seem to prosper and think they are right when wrong.

 

A Christian Test Dec.16

 

And Jesus replied:

"You are always wondering which voice speaks to you. You say, “Is this or that of God? How do I know for sure?” There remains a constant test to know if I am asking something of you instead of the negative forces. Ask yourself: Will what I’m about to say or do glorify heavenly Father? If the answer is “no” or “I don’t know” wait until you can answer “yes.” My Spirit does not argue with you. Just says, “Thus says the Lord,” what is. I help you combine spiritual thoughts and words with the material to arrive as a partner with the Holy Spirit. If your activity or one you’re about to do doesn’t honor the Father, you may not need to give it up, but rather, turn it into God’s glory. If that can’t be done, then give it up. Your main goal is to move everything you think and do into glorifying the Father."

Prayer: Lord, show me how to test the spirits by depending on your Spirit.

Best Learning Dec.15

 

The Spirit taught:

"When the Roman soldiers came to take Me out of the garden and away from My disciples, I did not say to My followers, “Ok, now let Me teach you a principle from the Sermon on the Mount.” You may not hear what I teach when you are going through turmoil or struggles. You may gain insight, but My best teaching and your best learning occurs when you relax in Me. Find that resting attitude, rest in your secret place, and learn more of Me. Take time to absorb our conversations, especially after strong conflicts."

Prayer: Lord, help me through the day maintain my devotional thinking with you and dispel my critical thought.

Surrender Doubt Dec.14

 

The Spirit said:

"This time of year, surrender all that does agree with the theme of love I give. Dismiss doubt from your thinking. Love all your neighbor’s potential, what they can become in Me. Expressions of love can be different. You do not have to love their actions. In Mt. 5:48 I said, “be therefore perfect.” One thought. I was referring to perfect in my love, not just love expressions. Allow your faith in Me to rise and take first place by believing and walking the Kingdom path."

Prayer: Lord, remove doubt and help me today love unloving persons.

Success Dec.13

 

The Spirit reminded:

"True success is measured how you enrich kingdom people with service. How do you measure some action? Ask: Does it honor the heavenly Father because it is empowered by applying his true love? Could you just perform the task without My help? Are you led by the Holy Spirit? If you can answer these properly, resources will flow to you like living water. Make sure the action you take comes by faith through Me and I will send the appropriate resources you need."

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that you measure success in a different manner than the world.

Wholeness Dec.12

 

And Jesus reminded:

"Just as I fed the hungry and mingled with the world’s problems, you must find your place to do likewise. My socializing, like the feeding action is My spiritual essence at work. You need not separate the secular from the spiritual. In Me, make as many things complete as possible. Growing in holiness helps you serve the material with right doing. Wholeness of physical and spiritual is a legitimate goal. I still reclaim My creation with  My stamp upon it. You are the ink, the salt, and the light."

Prayer: Lord, while I do not fully understand all the tensions, I do pray to recognize your path at continued wholeness.

Love Close-up Dec.10

 

And God said:

"You may love Me from a distance. But if you want to love Me close-up, remain IN LOVE with Me. Think and learn what it means to be IN LOVE. The Holy Spirit will lead you. Then look to your fellow Christians. Practice loving them no matter what. Leave their unworthiness to Me. Give yourself to them. This shows My Glory."

Prayer: Lord, thank you. I’m still learning about your kind of love.

Half-Truths Dec.9

 

The Spirit said:

"Be careful of half-truths. Your culture promotes a universal principle; that is, you tend to believe immediately 50 per cent of something when you know little about the subject. For this reason, people believe horoscopes, polls, and certain advertising statistics. KNOW ME and I will give you 100 % truth. KNOW your facts. KNOW your data. Do not live on half-truths."

Prayer: Lord, help me not rush into the half-truths so easily.

Love Test Dec.8

 

And the Spirit said:

"I know you can love some things, some individuals, especially if they touch your interest. But when you can love uninteresting, unlovely persons that are blind, unfeeling, and lost, you show God’s love. You do not have to love their behavior. Increase your compassion by opening yourself to the larger world around you. You do not always have to get credit for being right. Practice kindness and with love, absorb people’s misdirection. While absorbing with My compassion, you do not have to consent to bad behavior."

Prayer: Lord, help me pay the right attention to confused persons who seem unlovely in action, since I don’t know their hearts.

The Grand Purpose Dec.7

 

Spirit reminded:

"Look around you. Your surroundings, your circumstances, Nature, and the whole universe maintain valuable goals. Certain values remain constant and important, like opposites, up and down, life and death. What kind of universe would let all your trials and struggles mean nothing at your end? Can death just wipe all away? For some, it might seem so. But death cannot exhaust the forms of My love. I will not let your life become a mockery. You have immortality in Christ. You will live on and grow. Take comfort in your present purpose. Know My intention will never be in vain because it continues forever. I am your valid eternal purpose."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me that through your Son’s love, you give me worth and purpose.

No Guidance Dec.6

 

And the Spirit said:

"If you feel 98% no guidance from Me and only hear 2% direction, follow the 2% because that remains better for you than operating on the larger amount without Me. If you feel NO guidance, then listen to the silence because often I am leading in what seems the non-guidance. Faith and trust become the goals of intention."

Prayer: Lord, help me to act on the smallest amount of belief in you and the kingdom, no matter what.

Clear Truth Dec.5

 

And the Spirit said:

"The whole universe stands behind truth. You do not have to justify, make confusing rules, or complicate truth. Lying always needs repeating over and over to cover sham and pretense. But truth stands alone and verifies itself. Let your “yes” become “yes” and your “no” become 'no.'”

Prayer: Thank you Lord, for reminding me that all truth comes from your essence.

The Way Dec.4

 

Holy Spirit reminds us:

"All around you vibrates the heavenly Father’s Way. So, it is not, “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” It is rather, “where remains God’s Way, there resides a better will.” All of creation ripples with the effects of Jehovah’s way. Look for it. Allow His will to become your willingness. Jehovah Father is reclaiming His creation."

Prayer: Lord, help me filter all my willful decisions through your plan.

Continue Your Resolve Dec.3

 

Jesus informed:

"By contacting and talking to Me daily, you build up a kind of reserve. When crisis comes you can respond automatically with My love because you have accumulated this storehouse of habit. Your nature changes more into My nature and genuine love can reign more."

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for the Holy Spirit who is always within us to show your genuine love.

Extravagance Dec.2

 

Holy Spirit within said:

"You must understand I do not condemn extravagance as long as it is extravagant love for Me, extravagant joy, giving, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, and mercy. If you must err, then err on the side of extravagant generosity."

Prayer: Lord, help me to understand if I take from life at some point, I need to put back.

Affirm the day Dec.1

 

Holy Spirit whispered:

"The future possesses hidden treasures, couched in eternity. Still, your daily issues continue to be guided by your Heavenly Father. You chose your daily battles, but continue to lean on Me. The Holy Spirit is within."

Prayer: Lord, help me know which battles to enter and which to avoid.
