And the Spirit said:
"I know you can love some things, some individuals, especially if they touch
your interest. But when you can love uninteresting, unlovely persons that are
blind, unfeeling, and lost, you show God’s love. You do not have to love their
behavior. Increase your compassion by opening yourself to the larger world
around you. You do not always have to get credit for being right. Practice
kindness and with love, absorb people’s misdirection. While absorbing with My
compassion, you do not have to consent to bad behavior."
Prayer: Lord,
help me pay the right attention to confused persons who seem unlovely in action,
since I don’t know their hearts.
