Joy is not just a state of being but a
process as well. You experienced the first real joy at your salvation, the awe
and wonder of unmerited favor, filled with love and mystery.
Now, joy needs to spread through a
journey of discipline. With daily practice God’s Word develops the joy of
knowing, not just knowledge, but a completeness to know the overall strategy of
heavenly Father in the spiritual realm. Sometimes you will not feel the joy because doubt and questions
plague you. But if you persist to seek Christ daily, you will reawaken wonder,
praise, and the knowledge that you know, that you know God’s Will.
