Listening to another does not mean consent to all said.
Focus all your senses, then….
Listen without correcting.
Listen without envy.
Listen without predicting.
Listen to another’s pain.
Absorb another’s concern.
Prayer: Lord, help me shut off self-talk for longer periods and listen
to others and you as well.
