Stay alert. Compassion
must move to operate as other centeredness. Hidden resentment, envy, anger,
coveting, or fear can throw up roadblocks to compassionate growth. Practice
taking one day every week and do something nice for anyone you meet. Say a kind
word; give some money; smile at the unexpected; surprise someone with a compliment;
do some good action and do not expect any thanks in return. Extend an action to
two days. Stretch the days so your goal happens every day of the week. Blessed is
the merciful.

help any passion I have turn to the right compassion.
