And Jesus whispered: July 1

 

“Some time may pass when you do not feel My presence, when the smallest feeling of irritation, unrest, or fear starts to cause disturbing thoughts. In those times, use conscious effort to think toward My presence. If you start to hurt or even complain, focus back to My existence. If you feel left out, come back with conscious focus to My center. If you start to feel unloved; accept again My love. Do this over and over until you more easily recognize I dwell with you continually. Just as I, Jesus, have intimacy with the Father, so do you when you stop to give recognition."

Prayer: Oh Lord, bring me back to your center when I start to feel at odds with anything, especially with other people’s actions when I don’t approve.

 

Do Angels pray? June 23

       Some believe Jehovah's angels have no need for praying. However, they exist in a constant state of what we humans call meditation and attitude of prayer, for their complete will is to serve heavenly Father. There is no other way. 

    We should pray as we breathe. It’s done best when we set aside our personal will for God-thought. Prayer is not just talking to God but with Him, like a friend.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me with the will for constant praying.

        "Often, your culture will say, act and solve a problem with any power available." And when you do not have an answer, you fret and worry. This approach lets fear raise its ugly head to create caution which blocks faith. You need to stop what you're doing, take a deep breath and call upon My presence. Rest in the faith that I am always the avenue for the best answers. Especially slow down when you are extremely tired of this earth. Rest and meditate on Me. Then, you can see better what My more perfect plans are for you and the future. Never let the body drive the spirit. Stop and let the Spirit direct the body.

Prayer: Lord, show specific direction on how to make me more sensitive to your Spirit as motivator of life.

Three Powers Feb. 5

 

And the Holy Spirit said:

        "Love brings power. Joy radiates power. Peace vibrates power. Each sustains unlimited energy." Each current produces wave after wave of spiritual vigor. When you embrace ME daily, you can combine the three qualities to push out every negative and feel my connection more.

        One active way to raise consciousness of all traits: As you walk or drive your many routines, raise your hand palm out toward people and say silently, in the name of Jesus, take love, joy and peace.  This action helps remind you of my presence and helps spread a power-blanket of each process over each human.

    True salvation is not some religious commodity to be advertised, displayed or presented as a way to purchase with practiced behavior ideas.

True salvation is a 'done deal', a Christ centered process in which a real person has miraculously joined us as a partner for whatever life submits.

When Jesus spoke in Mt. 5 about being poor in spirit, he meant basically, the commitment 

means the more of God needs to mean the less of you.

Prayer: Lord, I know your wisdom differs from the world’s. Help me see your wisdom daily so I may act upon it for your Kingdom.

Decisions May 28

 

And Jesus said:

        "One of the greatest things heavenly Father has created, besides the whole universe, displays the ability of choice in the human character. The ability to choose is an extension of the Father. He will help you change by choosing to become more than your givens. You may think you have no choice in certain things. However, look for the opportunities already in place, believing your decision to try to go beyond your circumstances. I will give you signposts right in front of you. My power continually flows for you. You may choose."

 

Prayer: Oh Lord, I do choose your way this day and more.

Silences May 20

 

        The Holy Spirit said:

    Today, make a decision. Design your life so you can pay attention to the silences. You live in an extremely noisy world. Work on your schedule so you can listen to the silences, the spaces between the noises. I will speak to you in the silences. It may appear as a ringing. It may be a gentle breeze. It may be a buzz. It may be just a feeling. It may be words. BE ALERT and LISTEN, so you really hear. I AM always with you.

Prayer: Dear Lord, help me to speak less today and listen more.

 

Death May 19

 

Is death all the end we do? Is this It? Is it all over?

Can we deny death? No, because we actually have many small deaths throughout life. A job dies. An idea dies. A pet dies. A relationship dies; A person dies. Yes, it is a difficult day to think we once are something, and NOW, the possibility we are not! We take some comfort in the fact that today, at least, we exist. We are here . . . but others may not be.

But if death is all we can have at the end of our lives, then it tends to cancel any meaning for our present existence now. If we are just defined by the fact we came from dirt and just go back to dirt, then it damages the whole of life. Are we just walking dirt???

But right in the middle of our history, Jehovah God put a Cross. Now that Cross becomes our definition . . . not death. With the Cross came a new fact of identity. With Christ came a new center for life… that center is Eternity. Suddenly, we may travel through death to an infinity, we may separate from this life and from loved ones, but God can and will, hold us and we will rise again. . . .

Now as Christ holds us, we must hold each other.

From the Bible, [Mk. 13:32-37] “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come. . .”

The writer of 1Cor. 13:13 mentions 3 important truths:

        TRUST in God everyday.

        HOPE always.

        LOVE continually.

Eat the book May 17

At least 3 times, scripture says to eat God’s written words.

Ezekiel 2:8-3:3; Jer.15:16; Rev. 10:9.

The meaning is symbolic to stand for totally digesting God’s word. We are to take in scripture as completely as what food gives meaning to our whole body. Take time to digest God’s word through meditation, giving time for His word to sink in all our being.

 I think I know why many persons in the Bible lived so long. 

MOST walked everywhere! Got to get some milk from the guy who lives 10 miles away? No problem. . . just walk and get some.

Struggles May 1

 

And Holy Spirit said:

        When you enter the path of pain or joy , discomfort or comfort, questions or knowledge , the journey may not always be for your direct growth. I, the Lord, seek continually those who need salvation or help. You may enter a struggle with Me for the sake of someone else. My compassion leads to your passion. Even if you are tempted to question or fear . . . remember, I look to save throughout the universe, and you may be traveling with Me. I will lead. You are to pay attention and follow.

 

Prayer: Lord, help me remember the Holy Spirit works always.

Hope Apr.19

 

       And the Holy Spirit said:

    When you need extra energy the most, look for a welling up inside. My Holy Spirit, as your plus energy, will remind you that hope gives you power to love in the most desperate circumstances. Remember that hope vibrates through the kind of faith which goes beyond fact/belief in that you act upon what you had faith in as if it were fact.

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for the love you gave us, so we can keep hope in any hour of need.

        The Holy Spirit said :

 “One small deed that honors Jehovah will be worth countless words. The Lord can speak to you in other ways that are heavenly connections. . . a dream, music, a generous word, a merciful act, even an unexplained behavior. Generous giving speaks more fruitful than mere words. Why do you call me Lord and do not the things I proclaim?”

One Reason Prayer Matters April 4

  

There are those who think: “Why pray when God already knows everything?”

One thought is: Since Jehovah is everywhere and everywhen, when we pray for the same issues, he already has in control, we join Him, and he joins us because majestic love gets enhanced somehow. It’s like when loved ones or children agree with us, our love blossoms more.

We can even ask and move mountains! We may have to invent a bulldozer, but we get there, just slower.

The Gift March 17, 2025

 

The gift of Jehovah [Jesus] IS NOT specifically a reward like we give a child or person when they have been good. He gave His Son to us when we were at our worst, not our best.

No matter how bad we think we are, He still loves us with an amazing love/quality that baffles our imagination. This truth causes us to learn belief and trust, which are the goals after all.  

 

Angels rescued me March 11,2025

 

There are times we have OFF. Sometimes, it is a vacation. Sometimes it is retirement. Sometimes it is even a time of sickness. When these times come, we have the opportunity to review and think about our personal stories. And sometimes we tell our story. We all have a particular story in life. It can be a time when God reminds us of who we are. He is still writing our stories. We “ain’t” through yet.

What is God doing? March 3, 2025

 

Again, if we want to know something about divine happenings, think about the names in the scripture given to Jehovah. For instance: Son of Jehovah; God’s Son [Lk.1:35; Heb. 1:2,8 and many others]

Jehovah’s human form, Jesus, has become one of us, but without flaws or any sin that ends in defeat and death.

With the birth of Jesus, we can speculate that Jehovah God Father still wants to be a part of his creation. Consequently, in one sense, He is his creation! That means He is still in control, whether we see it all or not. We can trust in his inventions, creations, even the good or bad as history moves along. His resurrection continues. God is still present.

    We live in so much consumerism today. It becomes so obvious that too many want something from us, especially wanting our money.

    But I have also discovered too much cyinicism tends to drain our hope and becomes a parasite to our Christian faith.

Who spoke first? Feb.26

 Did Nature speak first? Did the child speak first? Did the puppy speak first? Did the president speak first?

Nope! Psalm 33: 8-9.

God has an axe? Feb. 16

 

God’s word [scripture] is like an axe breaking through our frozen-lake hearts. He often breaks through the surface of our emotions and simply says, “I’m here, the water’s fine!”

Remember, God’s Grace always gives before He requests; He always loves first before He receives love. See: Luke 15: 25-32.

True God Faith Feb.10

     True Christian faith is hard because of the waiting. We must learn to wait without complaint, even wait on the hoping for the better, always expecting an obvious answer from God. We learn to put God first, not some feeling of Self first.                   [". . .sufficient is the day thereof..." Mt. 6:34]

Where is God? Jan.18

Today, people often ask the question, maybe from doubts or fears, but usually from a specific misunderstood situation.

An interesting truth exists. When we see or read the Bible, we see and read a place and time when God was always present. There is no question of “where or when” God is going to show up. Is this true Today?

We are taught to walk by faith and not by sight. But maybe prayerfully, we can walk by faith and insight in Christ.

When you read scripture, try to turn your eyes[sight] into ears[hear] what God is actually doing today.

I think today: God can handle, even harmonize, the seen and unseen all together for us through His Son Jesus.
