Spiritually prosperous are the poor in spirit because a servant’s heart helps fight temptation. Spiritually prosperous are those who hurt for the world’s hurt, for they shall receive an eternal comfort. Spiritually prosperous are the gentle for they can be trusted to inherit the earth and share its rewards because they care for others more than themselves. Spiritually strong and continually growing are those who keep following heavenly Father’s principles of Psalm 119 and Matthew 5.

Learning Dec.23

 

Holy Spirit reminded:

Often, life may not be just free time to spend any way you want. Often life exists like a school and I remain your teacher. School means you look for and expect homework and perform your lessons as best you can. Major on being alert. Pay attention and I will show you the better ways. For instance one of today’s lessons: Simplify your life. Make a plan to get rid of the clutter.

Prayer: Lord, keep me alert to your everyday lessons and help me spend my resources on those things pleasing to you.

Be a channel Dec. 22

 

Holy Spirit breathed:

Today, channel your resources to others in active ways, like listen to the unlovely, pay attention to the timid person, give funds where needed, give any time or talent in ways that others might receive the credit. Then, your light can shine brighter as you have desired and prayed.

Prayer: Lord, help us recognize any opportunities today and behave like your family, belonging to Your Kingdom of service.

Holy Spirit reminded:

As the scripture states, I was born of a woman under the law [Gal.4:4]. The universe operates around a set of laws which contain within, true value, like the four seasons show and the experience of gravity, life and death. You are to learn to live within these laws. If you go against them, you will be wounded and chaos follows. There exists the highest law: love. The law of My love supersedes all other laws but does not eradicate them. Your task is to learn love and harmony with the guidance-laws.

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for your forgiving law of love and showing us how to love, while living your law.

 HolySpirit said:

    If you begin your day with large interests and then ask God to bless them, that may not be the way. I do not want you grudgingly accepting My will. Start each day with wanting more love, not forcing My will, then ask what should be done that day. Move to the inner circle of My love with even  the small interests by letting Me be first in every decision. I will expand what you need later. I don’t want you just to be one thing or to do one thing, I want you to experience a sense of belonging to Me for all time-events.

No one lived before Me. I am the Way, and the Way stays all around you. When you see a child laugh, you behold the Way. When you see a brilliant flower, you see the Way. When you see someone offer mercy, you behold the Way. All creation gives hint of the Way. I, your Savior, am the Way. I did not come to create some unusual Kingdom. My Kingdom was already here. I came to provide a doorway through the Way to a re-established Kingdom-living of the heavenly Father.

Love Measure Dec.18

 And the Holy Spirit whispered:

Self-centered, yearning love, like-lust love, gives to someone or something in order to receive back a greater response. True love maintains a yearning to give only goodness to the object loved whether getting a return or not. To always expect a return tarnishes love. However, proper love given becomes its own reward. Holy Spirit will walk with you through experiences and show you true love.

Prayer: Lord, teach me the yearning for the other-centered love you have shared through your Son.

Holy Spirit whispered:

When you first met Me, your Savior, you were influenced by the wonder of first impressions. Nothing seemed impossible. Then, came a longer time of learning and experiences that had you questioning your faith/path, yet those times may have actually strengthened you. One time of questioning might have been whether your joy would ever return again. With more and more of your journey in and out from Me, you wonder if you’ve lost your sense of wonder. Stop and admire a simple thing, like a child, a plant, a sunrise. Your wonder and awe can come more strongly today. Watch for the experience.

Prayer: Lord, I praise you that your Grace still surrounds us.

Best Learning Dec.15

 And Jesus reminded:

When the Roman soldiers came to take Me out of the garden and away from My disciples, I did not say to My followers, ‘Ok, now. . . let Me tell you about a principle from the Sermon on the Mount.’

You may not hear what I teach when you are going through turmoil or some struggle. You may gain insight, but My best teaching and your best learning occurs when you relax in Me. Find your resting, secret place. . . that resting attitude of us together. Then, take time to absorb our conversations, especially share strong conflicts. I’ll take them.

Prayer: Lord, help me dispel my critical thought and through this day, allow your connections I may not understand.

Surrender Doubt Dec.14

 

And Jesus said:

This time of year, surrender all that does not line up with the law of love I give. Expel doubt from your thinking. Love all your neighbors. Expressions of your love can be different for individuals. You do not have to love their actions. Be gracious toward their potential in Me. In Mt. 5:48 I said, “be therefore perfect.” I was referring more to perfect in my love, not just any love expression. Allow your faith in Me to rise and question any limitation that tries to move you away from the Kingdom love/path, like money, ambition or power.

Prayer: Lord, remove disruptive doubt and help me today love unloving souls.

Wholeness Dec.12

 And Holy Spirit said:

Just as Jesus fed the hungry and mingled with the world’s problems, you must find your place to do likewise. My mingling, feeding action is My spiritual essence at work. But you must not totally separate the secular from the spiritual. Make as many things complete in Me as possible. Growing in holiness will help you serve the material with right doing. Wholeness is a legitimate goal. I am reclaiming My creation. All My creation needs and will have My stamp upon it. Yet, you are the ink, the salt, and the light.

Prayer: Lord, while I do not fully understand all the contridictions, help me recognize your paths of continued wholeness moving forward.

And Jesus reminded:

If you feel 98% no guidance from Me and only 2% direction, follow the 2% because that remains better for you than operating on the larger amount without Me. If you feel NO guidance, then listen to the silence because often I am leading in what seems the non-guidance of your silence. Faith and trust become the goals of intention. Believe My Grace always flows in effect, out of My love during your times of questions.

Prayer: Lord, help me grow the smallest amount of belief in you and the kingdom, no matter what.

Persistence Nov.26

 

The hardest asphalt driveway can crack and grow grass. The struggle the seed-plant endures may be slow but the life in it remains certain. Up it pushes with what appears unexplainable strength of life, some powerful surge of  life-giving creation. You, too, are a seed. You are more than a plant, with built-in seed power. You can overcome the hardest challenges by claiming the origin of that power, a Holy Spirit life. You are made in God’s image. You can choose.

Prayer: Help us today face our challenges with Christ-like behavior.

Death Nov.21

 

And Jesus said:

The main funeral conducted by Heavenly Father was for Me, the Father’s Son. Death is the usurper and claims the end. It does not understand the life I give. I give freely the opportunity for life. Earthly memorial services speak to a person’s past. I call upon you for a dedication of living service for the present, a steady commitment that runs through the present to a future. There is nothing wrong with past accomplishments. Just do not dwell on them. Look for opportunities I bring you now. Any seed planted will have potential future growth and could be someone’s prayer in the making. You may be part of a seed some unknown person planted or you may plant.

Prayer: Our Father, thank you for the abundant opportunities of life you have given us so freely, help us pay attention.

More than Compassion Nov.20

Heavenly Father dispenses goodness to anyone because He is all love. He sustains compassion on all He has made. His love-kingdom vibrates as an everlasting kingdom and lasts throughout the generations. YOU do not have to earn it. He gives freely. Nothing stops His love energy, but rejection may somehow seem to wound it.

Prayer: Thank you Lord, that everything you do comes out of your never-ending love.

We keep on inventing history as if we are in control. We are not! Heavenly Father still controls. He stays our partner, even lets us continue decision-making when we get it wrong.

“Blessed are the pure in heart” (Mt.5:8) promotes maintaining right relationships because those seeking emotional/heart purity are more merciful and kinder. One evidence of this quality is consistent loyalty to heavenly principle of servanthood, “on earth as it is in heaven.” Be more concerned about your opportunities to relate to people than your efforts to acquire things that make you comfortable.

Holy Spirit whispered:

A pretended shyness may become an obnoxious form of pride because it develops from a misguided sense of lowly self-worth. Faked shyness creates sham and pretense. It will paralyze any good works. Accept your actual worth in the Christ and be bold with assurance. Know that he can be your Lord in every situation.

Holy Spirit said remember:

Your heavenly Father does not just do love. He IS love! He does not function without love motivation. Everything that happens to you remains connected with His love because you are in his Son, and I, your Savior, am in you. I love you more than any other person or object that receives your highest passion. You may not always understand the connections or the consequences. The immediate moment may seem harsh or unloving, but that’s because you cannot see the whole picture of all the connections in the universe. Trust God’s love to work through every experience, no matter how long it takes.

To fully contact Me, you must practice shutting out the power of your physical---your taste, touch, sight, smell, and hearing. Your body will make noises and fight you on this. Go to a quiet place; if needed, close your eyes; shut out all the noise you can and throw your thoughts out beyond this world. Think of outer space. Let your spirit soar away from physical connections. A small opening can happen among the blackness when you tear through the great rift between heaven and earth. Move in spirit through the hole and linger in My presence. This, then, can become your highest form of prayer.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for continually teaching me ways to form better connections with you.

Important Work Nov.7

 

And Jesus reminded:

Any work you want to be permanent must be done through the Holy Spirit, honoring the Creator’s existence. All other efforts remain as temporary results. Search scripture and pray for what the Spirit wants you to do. Don’t just think of something and ask the Spirit to bless it. Stop and think God’s words and directions. And keep in mind: Anytime a human shows weakness, heavenly Father has opportunity to become known. The Kingdom of God remains a new realm of opportunity for service and you are in it.

Holy Spirit reminded:

Nothing remains insignificant because I can and may connect all things. Remember, you live in this world and My kingdom at the same time. Try very hard to flavor everyday events with kingdom joy. When you greet someone give them a kingdom smile. When you see someone anywhere on your journeys , send them a kingdom prayer, like “In Jesus name. . .love, joy and peace." No occasion, no contact stays too small to enhance the kingdom principles. Even though you do not see anything on the surface, trust that I am working underneath. Blessed are you when you hunger and thirst for the kingdom in every word and deed. My kingdom is a kingdom of service, not self-power.

Prayer: Lord, keep reminding me every moment, I am to serve gladly any who cross my path, even when interruptions or pain happens.

What is Poor in spirit? Nov.4

 

And Jesus whispered:

One result of “poor in spirit”, in Matthew 5 gospel, means to surrender total self-control. It does not mean get rid of your essence[your individual personality,  self-ability] or dishonor the self. I do not want to somehow rule over a beat up, ruined self but just receive a surrendered one. What happens when you truly offer your Self? You create a kind of emptiness to be filled. The Holy Spirit can now join in that space and help make you aware of the right image you are made in God, your God need, and God dependence. You can accept heavenly Father’s grace and lean fully on him. Without the emptying of the self, you would still be filled with the push of all the worldly clutter. That clutter tries to block the Holy Spirit, silencing His inner message. In the Biblical sense, crucify your false self so your true self can be resurrected.

Prayer: Lord, help me become more other-centered in Christlike      ways.

Accountability Nov. 1

                        And Jesus said: 

When scripture says in one translation, “Lo I am with you alway” Mt.28:20, another says “behold, I am with you all the days, to the end of the world.” I meant for you to pay close attention while doing all the little daily details you experience. I may break through to you at any moment because your time or circumstance and my time-quality can merge together for my immediate presence in any action you experience.

Prayer: Lord, increase my awareness of your incoming messages.

Holy Spirit said:

When you deliberately hide a negative thought, the subconscious captures it and places it in the depths of your soul storage bin. Those self-centered motivators try to hide and cover any other-centered attempts at honesty. The soul also houses your willingness. Honesty becomes more difficult because those negative buried issues gloss over the honesty urges. Ask My Spirit to shed light and reveal all, because I partner with your spirit for conscious and subconscious healing. Then I will help you start over. Nothing is beyond my forgiveness or a restart.

You may be tempted at times to quit trying so hard because of what you left behind or what doesn’t seem to be working. Let God's word of Philippians 3:13-14 remain your motivation. Press on everyday toward your goals in Christlikeness. You are guaranteed the prize.

Allow your faith, hope, and trust in Me to dominate your thinking. Arise and attack any doubt of any specific limitation. Again, this is the time of year to surrender all that does not check out with the law of love I’ve given you. So, care for your neighbor as I have cared for you. Even love your neighbor as I have loved you.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for your kind of mature love, one that thinks more of others.

With regard to heavenly Father’s intention for your everyday living, if not careful, too much prosperity can blind your servant challenge. Humble beginnings still apply. Blessed are the poor in spirit partly means to do away with too much self-indulgence and keep practicing a giving spirit. Life remains hard to be poor in spirit when too rich in the physical. Give something away every day as a way to balance the physical and spiritual. There are many ways to give, like love, a helping hand with positive attitude, patience toward stubbornness, kind words instead of harsh rebuke, a smile at the right time . . as well as resources like money.

Prayer: Lord, help me stay in a giving attitude today, even to those              I am with every day.

Holy Spirit taught

The mind works and adds emotional commitment that creates trust. Trust implies a strong feeling. So, trust often expresses itself in the realm of emotion. As a result, most reason takes 2^nd place when trust feels an issue, like hope, then it forms a reality of action. Trust moves a promise into actual present fulfillment. From your heavenly Father, as your Savior, trust in Me. Hope in Me. Then, live in Me. Trust in your future, but give full participation for what still happens now. Trust your faith. Faith your trust.

Prayer: Lord, I admit: One of the hardest emotions to maintain faithful                       action is the trust issue. Keep teaching me how.

Jesus reminded:

You may be the builder in life, but I, Jesus, am the Architect. Do not reverse these. Design your life through scriptural plans that represent Me. Search and find My plan. My plan is no secret. He that has eyes and ears and meditates can find.

And Jesus whispered:

Continually, unseen forces pass through you, like ultra-violet rays. Holy Father may not need your body to connect with your mind, but He does want all your senses to connect with Him. If you were to lose your consciousness, but maintain something like compassion, the Spirit could still interpret without your help. The Holy Spirit hears your unintelligent mutterings. There are more things passing through you that you do not register than you realize. My Spirit helps you go beyond your limitations. Since it is true that in Me, you are more than you think, feel, believe, and behave, you are valued much more than you think you are.                               

         Prayer: Lord, thank you for your mercy and everyday forgiveness.

It is one thing, if you believe the heavenly Father created everything and just turned it loose to grow by accident, be used or abused by humankind. In some ways He did with free will. But it is a higher belief to know the Father still remains actively involved with His creation and at the end of his creation comes, a redemptive rest. Whatever else the Father does through creation, He wants to put things back in balance for peace and harmony. He established a balance through the redeeming significance of His Son and initiated humanity's potential to obtain the Holy Spirit. He offers harmony to your spirit.

Holy Spirit reminds:

Being made in the image of heavenly Father influences your imagination. If you hold an idea long enough in your mind, you will tend to act upon it.  I have instantaneous creative ability. Whereas, you have deferred creative ability. You must think about something for a while and then you’ll bring it to pass, whether good or evil. A big difference, I do not think evil solutions. So, be careful what you dwell on with your mind. It can turn to action.

Technology invents new items to take things apart, put them in new ways to see how they work for us.

Scripture reminds us of the Creator, with his Son, who puts things together to show us what they mean.

Temptations Oct.14

 

Jesus said:

"I have said I would not allow you to be tempted beyond your endurance, but with it, will come a way of escape." However, sometimes you may not see an immediate way out, but I am here just the same. The working out of any problem becomes much like healing. At times, healing comes instantaneously. Others must go through a process which may mean a doctor involvement or other systems of health. Sometimes a way of escape is like when the angel could not come to help in war because he was busy in another place, I use your earthly time and Mine for the Holy Spirit to arrive at the proper connections. All things DO join together in Me. When you feel abandoned. . .still trust I am working.

Prayer: Lord, grow my trust in your connections, even when I cannot see your overall picture.

    And Jesus said:

        I am not some hesitant Savior, meaning you must beg over and over for my attention. In fact, every day I plan what may seem a new surprise, a new gift for you which contains My joy.  Pay close attention. My ways are not the world’s ways. Often, through what seems unusual thinking or action, I send you a blessing. It can appear as a blessing, or some hardship, a health issue, a financial message, or a family event. Potentially, any activity may become My channel because I love to give. Pray to discern the differences.

Prayer: Lord, help me remember you injected your love into every cell of my mind, body, and spirit; every neuron fired in my brain can connect with your love.

Holy Spirit whispered:

I want you to try something for one day. You may or may not see results. Every time you meet someone, in the quiet of your mind, I want you to send a prayer at the person. Do this with every person you meet: phone text, store clerk, family member, worker, anyone. Just pray toward them, like “in Jesus’ name peace, love and joy!” or “Lord help that person” or “give her strength”, or Just say whatever you feel impressed to say. Do it a whole day and then you might want to extend it longer. With this, you are practicing My presence.

Prayer: Lord, remind me today to keep praying for your glory.

And Jesus whispered:

On many corners of your world, you can see institutions that promise to offer all kinds of relief. Will you be set free from the struggles and troubles? Do you desire the condition of the non-believers who seem to have no problems? Does not everyone eat, drink, and get rained on? Is your constant goal to avoid suffering? The Psalmist [121] points you to a magnificent truth: Believers and non-believers can have the same difficulties, but the heavenly Father can and will keep you from evil. Events that happen to you are neither good nor bad but have the potential seed for either one. I may allow what seems hard, difficult, uncomfortable events, but My Spirit keeps you from evil. However, it remains no accident in My model prayer that I prayed “. . . deliver us from evil.”

Prayer: Lord, I do pray you deliver us from evil thoughts and ways.

Holy Spirit said:

Life blends together like tiles on a floor, some are straight, others may be curvy. I am just as interested and concerned about the everyday little pieces of life as they fit together. Nothing stays too small or unimportant but what  may be significant heavenly Father’s kingdom activity. At the end of your life, you may recall, piece by piece, the full masterpiece to heavenly Father’s connections.

Prayer: Oh Lord, help me pay attention to all the little facets of life.

Indecision Oct.6

 

The Holy Spirit whispered:

Just follow Abba kingdom principles and make your decisions. Avoid hesitation. Spend less time predicting results, just trust Me. Too much indecision leads to fear not faith. Ask: What will best feed kingdom growth? Don’t ask: “What is the right thing to do? “How will this affect me?” Rather ask, “How will this help someone else?” Following heavenly Father’s design can also keep you out of the dilemma of doubt. You can make quick decisions more favorable.

Prayer: Lord, help me not waver when it comes to behaving with your  kingdom desires.

The Holy Spirit said:

An individual difference in My being able to work certain powers in your life has to do with recognition. Maintain conscious effort every day in remembering that I, the Christ, can be honored by the little things as well as the large. Your attitude, your perception, and the ability to rest in Me make all the difference. Pay close attention to where My Spirit keeps working. Scripture defines the situation.

Prayer: Lord, keep my spiritual eyes open to see you always.

Practice My presence Oct. 3

 

And Jesus said:

If you truly believe that all things are held together by Me and that I can be the source and sum of all you attempt, then every practical behavior you choose can be praise to heavenly Father. Your breathing, your act of eating, your essential self, every cell of yours can be joined by Me. So, when you experience any of these, give conscious acts of praise and honor to Me and kingdom growth.

Prayer: Lord, let everything I attempt glorify your name.

Influence Oct.2

 Holy Spirit whispered:

    You may not see what is left behind from your involvement with others. But because I give you everlasting principles that sustain heaven as well as earth, your best influence will also be eternal. Each word or act in My name gives off cosmic energy that outlasts earthly time because you can speak from heaven strength. Stay alert to what you say and do every day.

Prayer: Lord, I stand amazed, that something I might say could last through eternity. Let the Holy Spirit filter my mouth.
