Compassion Blockers Sept.11

 

      Remember, your trust is in Me, Christ, your Savior. Compassion needs to operate as other-centeredness. Resentment, anger, wanting rewards like others have, or fearful actions can throw up stop signs to compassionate growth. As an intentional reminder, practice taking one day every week and do something nice for anyone you meet: Say a kind word; give some money, smile a compliment; do some good action and do not expect any thanks in return.  Extend the practiced-action to two days. Stretch the days so your goal could happen every day of the week. Blessed is the merciful.

        Prayer: Lord, help any passion I have turn to the right compassion.
