The Spirit said:
"Poor in spirit means to renounce yourself being totally in control. It
does not mean to dishonor the self. I do not want to rule over a ruined self
but a surrendered one. What happens when you renounce your Self? You are left
with an emptiness to be filled. The Holy Spirit can now make you aware of your
God need, God dependence, and God origin. You can accept heavenly Father’s
grace and lean fully on him. Without the emptying of the self, you would still
be filled with all the worldly clutter. That clutter can block the Holy Spirit,
silencing His inner message. In modern terms, crucify your false self so your
true self can be resurrected."
Prayer: Lord, I do pray for other-centered Self.
Only you can do this.
