“My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world my servants would fight . . .” John 18:36.
Negative aggression or violence tends to be
the response in the world for most wrong-doing. Negative violence is not the
response in Jesus’s world. You are to forgive by showing mercy. Work to forgive
all evil–doers --- not their behavior, for that is God’s realm of judgment. You
must, however, forgive the part of them that knows not what they do. Forgive
their broken humanity. Remember, once, you were in a state of unforgiveness as
well.
Prayer: Lord, help me remember that others may not
experience the same things I do, but they need a Savior in the same way.
