Special Bond July 31

Think what Jesus said, “Take My yoke upon you” does not just mean you must withstand some burden. If you walk by the water, Jesus is there. If you scale a mountain, Jesus is there. If you fly in the air, Jesus is there. He walks everywhere and everywhen with you. He can be your constant partner. You continue linked together and He bears the entire journey with you. Evey minute just pray, " Lord, make the connection."

Prayer: Thank you Lord for caring and your eternal bond.

The Right Question July 29

 

 Every time God begins a conversation with you or uses some impression, He may suggest a question for your development. If the Holy Spirit asks you something specific, He is really preparing you for a Kingdom gift, the heavenly Father’s Grace. He does not argue in your spirit. He says, “It is so.”

Prayer: Lord, often the world’s questions get mixed up. Help me hear the right questions you ask.     

Mistakes July28

 

        Your life will be like swimming in a great ocean: so much water, so many directions to take, so many mistakes can happen. But do not try to swim against a rushing tide like some specific failure. Accept God’s forgiveness and do not get water-logged. The best you can, avoid drowning in any grief from shortcomings. No matter what you feel, the heavenly Father is here to help you swim forward, not backward.

Prayer: Lord, help me begin each day with a fresh start.

Assured Faith July 26

 

You have the privilege to move into the company of the Kingdom because of Christ’s broken body. You have confidence to enter his Holy presence because of the benefit of the spilled blood. At Crucifixion, the veil of the old Temple was torn, which was a symbol of his flesh. He is now our high priest, so draw near with a true heart because you possess assured faith through his sacrifice. You may be the physical “go between” for the lost to discover a salvation experience. You have now become a kind of priest to the lost individual.

 Prayer: Help me today be a representative of the Good News to all those around me.

No Regrets July 25

 

        Remember, any last words don’t need to embrace regret of the past nor any guilt about your present circumstances. The true last word shines in the resurrection. What is mortal will reach immortality, everlasting life. You already own eternity, and it owns you. Any day, eternity can become a part of your everyday, as long as you do everything “unto the Lord.”

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the assurance that to live or die still is an opportunity to give you glory through your Son.

Science July 24

 

Look for and pay attention to discoveries in science that may affect your decision-making. You do not need fear science. Search to see how it should cooperate with Biblical truths. The heavenly Father made all natural things, the basis of technology included. Remember, he created science as well. All truth is his.

Prayer: Help me remember today, Lord, that your truth can be found anywhere I am willing to look.

Value Judgments July 23

 

Daily consider sound Biblical judgments every chance you get. You have decent intelligence the world does not have. You can operate smarter with God’s moral intelligence. You can use this intelligence to help others. If you stay alert, the Spirit will give you heightened intellect for you to stay on track with values of the kingdom. Values guide what people live as significant for living.

Prayer: Lord, help all my reason be flavored with your Spirit.

A Necessity July 22

 

Raise your alert ability. Watch for someone’s need; an opportunity will arise. A Kingdom principle will lead you. If you are confused, look at the Beatitudes of Mt. 5 and review. Spiritually prosperous are those who hear and do.

Prayer: Keep me other-centered today as I watch for someone’s need.

Take Time Out July 21

 

Place yourself in a quiet situation. Look deep within. Shut out the world. Grip your hands or do something to avoid sleeping. The voice of the Holy Spirit will speak to you if you take time to listen. God is not reluctant. He wants to speak to you.

Prayer: Lord, help me shut out useless self-talk and truly hear you.

An Action July 20

 

Today, you may be called upon to look to the counsel of a trustworthy friend. God is always your friend, but there are believers in your life who you may trust. Let them help you with a decision.

Prayer: No matter how strange the situation, keep me aware of all people today and their communications.

Cooperative knowledge July 19

 

Scripture has given you a glimpse of the Father by knowing Jesus. As followers of the Kingdom, bound together, you experience strength. All the collective knowledge, wisdom, and understanding becomes your cooperative energy for the Kingdom. Christ remains the non-breakable help when you do not break the connection.

 Prayer: Lord, I do not always understand the significant power of true believers who bond together. Help me in this endeavor.

Endurance July 17

 

Try not to forget that you rest in Christ. You live in Him, and he gives you the Spirit to live. Communicate with the Holy Spirit on everything through your thinking, self-talk, and ambitions.

 Prayer: Lord, remind me today to turn to you with every detail of my life.

Raw Honesty July 15

 

A straight word is like a waxing, rising moon. A twisted word is like a waning, declining moon. Thus, a lie promotes darkness. The lie tries to damage the light. Truth goes into light. Commit to ruthless self-honesty. Avoid feeding honesty with darkness. Light can wound darkness. Commit to the integrity of God’s word and make it your word. Spread light.

Prayer: It is so easy to let the little lies go. Help me to stay fully alert and block even the small untruths.

No Turning Back July 14

 

Sad words are written in John 6:66 that from a certain time many of the followers of Jesus turned back and no longer followed him. Scripture indicates they returned to their old associations. Because of their dropping out, they missed many blessings. More blessed are those who endure and continue to follow God’s kingdom path because they will possess the Kingdom riches.

Prayer: Lord, increase my perseverance, so I may endure whatever comes my way.

Focused Love July 13

 

 

As Jesus is your Lord and constant companion, work to love Him with every aspect of your person:

All your heart. He wants your affection.

All your soul. He wants your willingness.

All your mind. He wants your intellect.

All your strength. He wants your physical condition.

All your spirit. He wants your essence.

Then, love your neighbor as He has loved you.         

 

Prayer: Lord I seem to love just so far. Teach me more love as I follow you.

 

Harshness July 12

 

KNOW THIS: Harshness very rarely helps others to correct themselves in any permanent way because they won’t remember any positive lesson, only the harshness. On the other hand, they remember kindness. Try your best to offer kindness, even to those who do not deserve it.

Prayer: Lord, help me today to control the tone of my voice to sound kind instead of harsh.

Significant Faith July 11

 

Faith is too compelling and priceless to sacrifice upon the altar of any intellectual exercise of future guessing. Trying to out-guess the future short circuits your faith. You do not want to guess the future in order to know how to live. Pursue Faith in Christ; know Him and you have the foundation of faith. Do not rest your faith in God for only an immediate deliverance. But rest your faith in the eternal, unbending love of the Heavenly Father. He will deliver what you need on time.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, increase my faith to have more Faith and to trust my faith.

Pay Attention July 10

 

     If you were to discover there was a fortune hidden in a Bible and you had to listen to a certain piece of music to discover which Bible, you would listen to the music very carefully. You must always remember the value and experience of the art of listening. Holy Spirit in prayer reminds you: listen, learn, and obey.

Prayer: Help remove any distractions today that would keep me from hearing the Spirit.          

Be a friend July 9

 

Today, show the audacity to be friendly to everyone through every action. Your friendly faith can become infectious to others. Remember God IS the Divine Mercy.

 

Prayer: Please remind me today, when I’m irritable, of your gracious mercy.     

Too Self-focused July 8

 

When you are sad, you tend to focus too much on the Self. Go do something for someone. When you help dig them out of trouble, the hole that remains can become a grave for you to bury your own sorrows. Love for others will outlive hurt. The main motivation of God’s love moves you to give, and then give some more.

 

 Prayer: Thank you Lord that your Love is greater than the Self. Help me pay attention.

True Grace July 6

When you feel life has been unfair; when you were doing all that was right and correct; when you feel you should receive justice and yet someone else gets credit yet appears unworthy with less merit. . . when that person obtains the good things, do not fret. Hidden within may be the working of the mystery of God’s Grace. Relax about it because much of God’s Grace extends to you as well.

 

Prayer: Lord, thank you for reminding me that your Grace covers everyone, at all times.

Mystery of Silence July 2

 

        The Heavenly Father sometimes remains silent for several reasons. He is working other concerns in the kingdom of which you are still a part, but you cannot yet see all connections. Sometimes He seems disconnected. This may feel like he has broken the link with you, but He’s still here. Instead of doubting and asking “Why, God?” in natural human pain or fear, make conscious effort and begin to ask “What?”  “What would you have me do today for your Kingdom’s sake?” Sometimes you still may wait through silence, but waiting in active trust rather than doubt, however long it takes, will protect your heart.  Remember, anything feeding a lack of faith misses the heavenly Father’s intention.

Prayer: Oh Jesus, I want to do everything by faith with you.

Jesus as Reality July 1

 

Time will pass when you do not feel God’s presence, when the smallest feeling of irritation, unrest, or fear starts to cause disturbing thoughts. In those times, use conscious effort to think toward God’s presence. If you start to complain, come back to His existence. If you feel left out, come back with conscious focus to His center. If you start to feel unloved; by faith accept again God’s love. Do this over and over until you more easily recognize the Holy Spirit dwells with you continually. Just as Jesus has intimacy with the Father, so do you when you stop to give recognition.

Prayer: Oh Lord, bring me back to your center when I start to feel at odds with everything, especially with other people’s actions I don’t approve.
