For the believer
in Jesus, fake shyness creates sham and pretense. A misplaced shyness may
become an obnoxious form of emptiness because it develops from a misguided
sense of a lowly self. It will paralyze any good works. Accept your actual
worth in Christ, as part of God’s family, and be bold with assurance. Know that
you have the Lord of the universe on your side in every situation.
Prayer: Lord, help me behave more openly with my Christian
witness.
