“If you declare that Jesus is lord, and
believe that God brought him back to life, you will be saved. By believing you
receive God’s approval, and by declaring your faith you are saved. Scripture
says, Whoever believes in him will not be ashamed.” [Ro, 10:9-11, GWT].
The
verse says, “You ARE saved” when you have declared Jesus, believed he came back
from the dead, and expressed your faith. We receive God’s approval whether we
earn it or not.
The
result is we should confess Christ with our mouths before humanity ever chance
we get.
