Try Harmony
In the book of Acts 1:3, we are reminded
that after Jesus was crucified, He rose again and appeared to the disciples for
40 days and 40 nights. What must He have told those followers?
I believe He must have re-taught some of
the very truths He mentioned before crucifixion by connecting scripture being
fulfilled and kingdom principles that should be lived.
One of those important but difficult
propositions was “. . . spiritually prosperous are the makers and maintainers
of peace, for they shall be called the sons of God.” [Mt.5:9, AMPBT].
What does this mean for the average
person?
Sometimes, if you want harmony as a
goal, you have to listen to an opposite view and even absorb another’s anger in
order to find any peace. Listening and absorbing does not mean you agree. It
just means you stay approachable.
