“…You prepare a table before me in the
presence of my enemies…” [Ps.23:5]
The table [surface] prepared for us by God has
him as a foundation to absorb an enemy, any challenge, any disrupter of life. The
table is set against the enemy who wants to reset the table and make us think
we are god. “Will you really die?...” [Genesis]
“You anoint my head with
oil; my cup runs over…”
Our total being [cup],
our essential self is joined by the Holy Spirit and the heavenly Father’s Grace
can flow through us.
This holy abundance
sustains us.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for your wonderful preparations.
